  2. Seeing Baty turn what could have been his last chance with the Mets into grabbing 3B for 2026 was huge.

    His defense and hitting are good enough that he could be a 4-5 win player during the next 3 seasons.

  3. I love Brettjamin Baty.

    I was really impressed by him this year. I thought he was tricking me again with the whole spring training Barry Bonds —> mister 0-2 wormkiller 3000 thing again. But once he came back, his changes in preparation and approach were the real deal. Even his outs looked better. It wasn’t just like he was riding a hot streak all year; he figured something out. I’m proud of him.

    I believe in Baty, do you? His short stint away has him laser focus on 3rd. I don’t think anyone else does 3rd better than him. Count me one of his biggest fans
