Phew, Im glad they arrested him today. I had odds on it being today or tomorrow, with a prop bet of before 4pm and that he wouldn’t get out of the airport… now to see if it happened in Gate E.
I never was a sports gambler, but my brain was rewired after watching ESPN for 49 seconds last week. Good thing no one is worried about kids who love watching and playing sports, or we would be setting up an entire generation for failure! Yay, sports gambling!
I guess my question to this dude is why on earth would you fly back to America?
You know youre wanted. You know you are facing six decades in prison for gambling.
Why would you come back to The States? Forget to close the garage door? Or were you legit turning yourself in?
You’ve got millions in the bank (assuming). Go fly somewhere else with no extradition laws and live the rest of your life on the money you made playing a game.
It was never going to get any better coming back home.

Maybe I have watched too many movies, but if I’m running away from justice, I would not try it through an airport. And if I have to fly, I definitely would not go to one of the main hubs of the country.
I am just so sad for this whole situation. He had so much potential to be a legend…
