The New York Giants are bringing back a familiar face, a player that is extremely liked within the fan base. It seems like he’s liked inside the building, even though there’s been some reports over the last 365 days that maybe there’s some tension there. But it ends when pen gets put to paper and Isaiah Hajins is signing a deal to return to the New York Giants. He is being signed off of the Pittsburgh Steelers practice squad and he is immediately a part of the 53man roster for the New York Giants. He’s had a couple of stops along the way since leaving the New York Giants when the Giants actually assigned him to the practice squad back on November 11th of 2024. And then the San Francisco 49ers signed Hajins to a futures contract for the 2025 season back in January. He then was released by the San Francisco 49ers in August of 2025. And then he signed to the Pittsburgh Steelers practice squad on September 16th of 2025. So a couple of stops since he was last with the New York Giants, but he hasn’t recorded any stats in an actual NFL football game since then. The last time he played was with the Giants last year when he had two receptions in three games for 12 yards. I like this move for a handful of reasons for the Giants. One, he knows the playbook. He knows the scheme. He’s going to be able to hit the ground running and there’s not going to be a very large learning curve for him to at least know his assignment on a down and down out basis. two, he’s a big slot receiver and the New York Giants have become a pretty small receiving core over the last couple of weeks due to injuries. And now Darius Sllayton is dealing with another injury. So you could see Isaiah Hajins out there as soon as this Sunday against the Green Bay Packers. He has played 28 games in his career with the Giants over three seasons totaling 56 56 catches for 593 yards and seven touchdowns. His best season with the New York Giants was that 2022 campaign where he had 33 grabs in eight games for 350 yards, 10.6 yards per catch and four touchdowns. He’s multiple. He can play in the slot. He can go to the outside. He can create some some separation due to his size. A little bit quicker than you would anticipate considering he is a 6’3 wide receiver. He can work in that short to intermediate range as well. A big body for Jameus Winston and inevitably Jackson Dart when he comes back from concussion to get the rock too. I absolutely love this move. Show Isaiah Hajins some love. I wonder what jersey number he’s going to wear. He was rocking 18 with the Giants, but Darius Sllayton is wearing that jersey now. So, just give me some IH’s down below. Welcome back to the team, Mr. Hajins. We are happy to have you. We are all fans of you as a person and as a football player. This comes on the heels of Lil Jordan Humphrey leaving the New York Giants practice squad and signing to the active roster of the Denver Broncos. So, one practice squad receiver leaves and the New York Giants add another receiver to this team. I was a little bit disappointed yesterday to learn that little Jordan Humphrey was leaving and it really comes down to this. The New York Giants refused to cut Jaylen Hyatt and they refused to do it due to social media and just overall backlash from this football team and that’s disgusting. They shouldn’t care about headlines. Nobody thinks Jaylen Hyatt is a good football player. The Giants should move on from him or they should start playing him. He’s been a healthy scratch this year and there have been multiple games where Gunnar Ovsky and Ray Ray Mloud are getting snaps at receiver over Mr. Hyatt. Um maybe that changes the rest of the year and Kfka has been told by Joe Shane to play some of the guys that he has drafted to get a final look at them. I don’t know. But if you’re not gonna play Jaylen Hyatt, you should cut him and you should get a receiver that could contribute to this offense and especially help out Jackson Dart when he gets back. I don’t mind actually seeing Hyatt out there this week with Winston. Winston likes to throw the ball deep. They connected in the preseason. I would let Hyatt run a couple of go routes, but um it is what it is. So, breaking news, Isaiah Hajins is a Giant. Lil Jordan Humphrey is now a Denver Broncos. Some other moves as well the New York Giants have made over the last 24 hours. They have signed Zack Davidson, a tight end to the practice squad. They are also signing Ben Sals, a kicker to the practice squad. Davidson is 6’7, 250 pounds. He was a sixthround pick by the Minnesota Vikings in 2021 and he went to college at Central Missouri and he actually spent time with the Buffalo Bills from 2022 to 2024. He has just five receiving yards in his career for one catch. So, um, we’ll talk about the injury report and what this could mean for that. But the Giants making another move at the kicker spot as Graham Gnau is heading to IR. His season is most likely done, which means this Giants career is most likely done. And no disrespect to Graham. My anger is directed toward uh Joe Shane. He should have cut you and saved this team $5 million in the offseason. And Sauls worked out for the Giants last week. He was 21 of 24 on kicks last year in college at Pittsburgh and he was 44 of 44 on extra points. He also has showed off that he can make kicks from distance. He has made six of his seven kicks of 50 plus yards. Let the jokes roll in the comment section. So you had a tight end and a kicker to the practice squad. Isaiah Hajins goes to the active roster as Lil Jordan Humphrey leaves the Giants to go to the Broncos. And it is a loaded injury report for the Giants. This was following Wednesday’s practice. Players that did not participate. Jackson Dart with a concussion. All signs, all signs point to him being out this Sunday against the Packers. And it looks like Jameus Winston is going to be that guy. Graham Gnau out with a neck injury. He is on IR. Johny Goston remains out and not practicing with a neck injury. What is going on there? What a disappointment that signing has been. A guy that played 34 out of 34 games over the last two years with the Cowboys. He can’t even practice for the New York Giants. I hope he’s all right. Evan Neil somehow has an injury after not playing football. Has a hamstring injury. Tyler Nuben a neck injury. Raken Nunes Roaches a toe. Bobby O’ Carrick a shoulder. Darius Slate a hamstring. and Kavon Tibido a shoulder. So Kavon’s a starter, Sllayton’s a starter, Okake is a starter, Nuben is a starter, Dart is a starter, and Rake Nunes Rochess is a heavy rotation guy. That’s five and a half big time players not practicing on Wednesday. Players that were limited. Some good news here. Paulson Adibbo a knee injury. He could potentially get back out there this week. Daniel Bellinger, a groin, Victor Dukiji, a shoulder, and John Michael Schmidt a shin injury. looks like he could maybe return as well. So with Darius Sllayton out, Isaiah Hajins in, maybe Sllayton comes back, but the Giants trying to shuffle that back end of the roster as they are beat up and it is just week 11. Still seven more games to go. It’s going to get dirty. It’s ugly. It’s grimy. It ain’t pretty, that’s for sure. But a lot of news today. Make sure you are subscribed. Hit that big red sub button. We’ll have more videos out on the channel later

  1. So Mike Tomlin and Rodger’s didn’t have Hodgkins catching.
Sean Payton and Bo nix want lil Jordan Humphrey.
    But we happy?
Joe Schoen needs to be gone

  2. Schoen jusy signing him to make fans stop calling for his head. Schoen is a fucking bum. Prlly sold Daboll out behind closed doors. Hes a self preserving piece of shit. He has no backbone. No loyalty. KNOWS DICK ABOUT BEING A GM. HE NEEDS TO FUCKING GO. AND IF OWNERSHIP CANT REXOGNIZE THIS……WE NEED NEW OWNERSHIP 😊

  3. This has been an awful week for giants fans. Another blown game, Dart injured, Daboll gone, future in question, lil Jordan is a bronco, Schoen still our GM…. What did I miss?

  4. I hate to the be THAT fan but I have to say this…why are we trying to salvage this season? The D hasnt been playing with any kind of pride or heart and way under the level of talent. 2 our of 3 best offensive players are out for the season and if we arent careful our QB of the future will turn into the next Tua. soooo why not just pack it up and call it a season? Yea I know..no team is supposed to tank but we need help in so many areas that we need to have a high, possibly top 5 draft pick and really start to build our O line. Giants…back up the truck let's start thinking about next season

  5. I'm so sick of the Giants tire kicking and going out and grabbing players from the bargain bin. We get all these has beens and no real impact players and wonder why we don't make it to the playoffs, let alone the Super Bowl. Typical.

  6. I mean. Hodgins is a WR. It is a WR we don't have. I guess we need bodies. Nothing to get excited about. I mean, it is an improvement, I guess. Hopefull,y he looks like the WR of old. I doubt it. Hope so. Are there really no older, cheap WRs with experience in FA that you can add for some crumbs?

  7. This just goes to show how much a shit show this organization this. Everyone one in world said to do this move weeks ago why wait till now to make this move ? JOE GOTTA GO!

  8. I've been a Russel Wilson fan for many years. But clearly his ability has diminished, and I wonder if part of the reason Dart has looked so electric starting out is that the roster is better than it seems when Wilson is in there. If Jameis wins a couple of games, I wonder if it might not be a good idea to let Winston start the rest of the season and let Dart develop under a coach who won't let Dart throw his body around so dangerously.
