Tennessee Titans fan HAS HOPE watching the Titans-Texans Week 11 NFL Game Preview

We’re back to it. After a by-week, after a week off from the madness, we’re right back to it. Titans, Texans, divisional matchup this weekend. And I’m going to go and tell you something right now. I think Titans have a shot. I think the Titans have a legitimate shot to win this game. We’re about to watch the NFL game preview for this week’s game between the Titans and the Texans. I think Titans have a shot. I don’t know if it’s a good shot, but I think they have a shot. A much better shot than they’ve had their last few games. I mean, right, the the Patriots, the Colts, the Chargers, they didn’t stand a chance against those three Texans probably more winnable. Yeah, at home. Guys getting healthy. Tennessee Titans at home after a week of R and R fans getting the lumen job done on them so they can keep coming to games to see a one- win team. So maybe they won’t remember when they go home that they saw the Houston Texans come to town who are very much alive and kicking in 2025. He’s sacked and it’s over. What a way to The one thing I will say Houston’s got going for them in addition to having a good defense of course, but they’re carrying over some real momentum from this win they got over Jacksonville Sunday. Come from behind down 29-10 in the fourth quarter. rallied at the end like an emotional dramatic win for Houston. I do think they could carry that over into this game. Wow. So despite Houston giving up 29 points to Jacksonville last week, they remain number one in points per game allowed for 2025, which sets them up for a game between the team last in scoring and the number one scoring defense, which when they’ve met in week 10 or later, the top D team has won the last 16 straight games. He’s hit hard and the ball is free. getting in there and making Lawrence’s life miserable by an average margin of 19.5 points. Tennessee just has to conjure up some 1948 Boston Yanks mojo. Yeah, the 48 Yanks, the last putrid offense to take out the league. Um yeah, I think that um the Titans offensive line once again going to have their hands full. I mean, the tackles in particular, Dan Moore, JC Laam. Laam did not play the last time the Titans and the Texans played. Uh, but if I remember the Titans offensive line, while not being great in the first game against the Texans, they were I best defense, Philadelphia Eagles, the lone team to fall victim to that scenario. Tennessee’s offense only mustering 14 points per game, have only topped 20 points once all year. And that was a 22point outing. 0 for four on third downs. They do quick snap and pressures coming and Henley takes him down. And this is round two of Texans Titans. Meeting one took place week four. Very symbolic. Houston’s defense shut out Tennessee’s offense. 26 to0 the final. Finds another seam and off the ricochet. It’s intercepted. Oh, there’s more. What? So we can jam like eight ads into a fiveminute video. I thought we would just sit back and enjoy an old clip between the two and roll the predictions page with 10 bullheads on it. Okay, fine. It says here, Cam Ward, the disrespect, man. The disrespect. I mean, this is how bad they are, guys. This is how bad the Titans are in 2025. The NFL game preview videos are a joke. It’s like, okay, can we please just get to the part where everybody picks Houston to win? 108 yards a pick, a 35 rating in that loss to Houston. He has the lowest rating in the league. So, hasn’t gotten much better interceptions in six of his last seven games. They do go for it on fourth and goal. Ward to the end zone. Intercepted. And that sets up a matchup between the quarterback with the lowest rate in the NFL and the secondary holding quarterbacks to the lowest rating in the NFL. Houston secondary held Trevor Lawrence to a 74 rating just 158 yds picked him off and Stingley for the pick. Stingley reads it perfectly. Oh man, the pass rush sitch doesn’t get better. Will Anderson on one side made it home for the fourth straight game. Leads the team with seven visits. On the other side, Denil Hunter was missing mom. Hadn’t seen her in a month. Made up for it with three and a half trips to the CASA. Denil Hunter. He looks like a cyborg. He plays like a cyborg. Five sacks on Dan Moore. JC Laam better eat your wedies before this game. And Cam Ward better, too. I mean, you just heard uh how bad he was last time he played Houston. Um you know, he’s coming off of a buy. It feels like we are officially entering this the second I mean, we are entering the second half of the season. At some point, you need to see the kid play better. I I’ve been vocal about the fact that I don’t think he’s really in a position to succeed on this offense with this team and these coaches, but still, you’re the number one overall pick. Regardless of whether you win or lose, you need to you need to show something. You need to show something. I don’t think it’s fair to say he hasn’t gotten any better. Uh, I think we’ve seen better play from him, but still there is a lot of rookie looking stuff that he does. And coming off of a buy, chance to reset, chance to really get some momentum in the second half of the season, we need it. He needs it. Just 23 pass attempts and now they go after Ward. Knows the grass the way Chichi and Chong do. Face planted into it 38 times. No one has taken more sacks. Caught from behind and Denil Hunter off the blind side. Texans DBs gave up 41 yards to Jacobe Meyers. He was the high. Tennessee’s top receiver in 2025 under three receptions per game. A dude who’s only played six games. Calvin Ridley averaging 48 per contest. As Ward fires, Calvin Ridley makes the catch, takes it out to midfield. Pard and Spears, their backfield duo. Tai more efficient than Tony at 5.1 a carry. Hollard used more at 53 yards per game. Hollard hit in the back field. He keeps his bearings though and then pounds his way to midfield against a top five team at stopping backs. Held Travis Eten hitting at five a carry before meeting up with Houston to 3.6 a run. Denil Hunters just blows up this play deep in the back field before it has a chance to get going. So it seems to me there’s pressure on Tennessee’s defense to keep it a lowcoring affair. By their own merits, that could be difficult. Giving up 28 a game. Now heads toward the end zone. Slides in safely. Secondary has been second to lots of teams allowing over 70% of passes to be completed giving up a 104 rate close to eight yards per attempt. If you don’t know those are not good. Going to the end zone for John. He’s okay. That was his perfect pass. Do they get CJ Strad this week? He missed last week with a concussion. CJ, I just saw before I filmed this video, he’s still in concussion protocol, not practicing today. Uh, that can change. But, you know, usually if somebody that’s in concussion protocol starts the week not practicing, usually they don’t. But, I mean, either way, um, Titans are going to have their hands full either way cuz I mean I have no reason to believe Davis Mills won’t carve up this defense. And honestly, if you’re Houston, if if you’re not confident that CJ Strad’s ready to go, this would be a game you would hold him out of. Like honestly, if I’m Houston, I feel good about my chances of of Davis Mills beating the Titans, if I’m being honest. Or Davis Mills. Does it matter? Mills led a dramatic late game comeback win, throwing for over 290 yards, two TDs, plus he ran in the game winner. Going to run looking for the pylon. He’s got the angle. Houston’s offense putting up 30 points of the 36 they scored. The second most they’ve put up in 2025. 10 for 15 on third down, four for five in the red zone. They’ve overcome a couple of their boogeymen so far today. They scored on the goal line. Here they’re getting in in the red zone. Tennessee’s front does at least have decent pass rush numbers, but they also just said bye Felicia to Draymond Jones. But 22 sacks isn’t bad. So I say show us a sack. We have to find some silver linings in this playbook. He’s under pressure again. He’s sacked again. Jiad Ward eats him for lunch. Mills only took two sacks on 45 pass attempts. They can’t complain. Mills found Jaylen Null for 35 yds. Jaden Higgins for 42. Pocket holds up. Mills to the end zone. Higgins has got it for the touchdown. Higgins with seven targets. Dalton Schulz and Nico Collins with 11 and 15 respectively. Collins 136 yds to lead the way. Broke off a 54 y. Throw down field. Crowd is down there. Catch is made. Mo Collins and Schultz seven catches 53 yds and a touchdown. He’s warmed up their last five. Hooks a pass back in the end zone. Caught. Touchdown. We always got trouble with these and Nico Collins with 12 and 15 respectively. Houston’s inconsistent run game could find some traction versus Tennessee’s run defense which has given up over 140 yards a game 4.9 yards per carry allowed to running backs specifically here’s Genty cuts to the outside has a first down and more Houston has their Woody Chub combo meal have to be 18 or older to purchase I think Nick just I say what a weird combination of names right there weird combination of names carries versus Jacksonville but how about 47 yards yards on 9.4 per marks 14 attempts 63 yards 4.5 a run he scored huge hole Woody marks he cut it to the second level and beyond okay now that you’ve clicked skip seven times we come to the history lesson between Houston and Tennessee before we get to the predictions I really hope I can talk Adam rank into taking Tennessee Houston has won five of their last six over Tennessee they I was wondering if somebody might take Tennessee in this game, but by the sounds of it, they’re now one win away from tying the series all time. We hit on their highest scoring matchup from 2007. In our first preview of these two a few weeks back, Tennessee took it. They took the first five games they played them. Actually, 2004, the first time Houston got revenge against the team that abandoned their city. Hello everyone and welcome to the Coliseum in Nashville. It’ll be David Carr versus Steve McNair. Carr under pressure. Hit fumbles. Both offenses were sloppy. David Carr lost the fumble and threw an interception. Steve McNair felt the pressure as well and he tossed four costly interceptions. Thanks, Steve. Make or break right here. It’s now or never for the Tennessee Titans. Fourth down and two at the Houston four. McNair gets the snap. Hit as he throws. Intercepted. Taken by Coleman. Brings it out of the end zone and slides across the do not remember this game at all, but I was also like 8 years old. Adam Rank did it. I knew it. Everybody picking the Texans except for Adam Rank who picks the Titans to win 1714. Brooks has the Texans winning 23 to0. MJD has the Texans 26-7. Wolf has the Texans 27-3. I again say some of the most lopsided score predictions you’ll see. Adam rank though. I tell you what, because I said at the beginning of the video, I think the Titans have a shot to win this game. I don’t know if it’s a good shot, but they have a shot to win this game. More than they’ve had in at least a month. You got to think. No, I don’t know exactly, but my my safe bet would be that Jeff Simmons is going to be back. Ardan Key is going to be back. Calvin Ridley is going to be back. Um, some some of these guys that have been out hurt and a week off, kind of a chance to reset after a one and eight start. I think the T and no probably no CJ Strad. I think the Titans have a shot. They have a shot now. They’ve got to overcome just how bad they are. But that I’ll give them more of a shot in this one than I did against the Chargers or the Colts or the Patriots. Right. They got a shot. Adam Rank agrees. Let’s tighten up.

  1. Won’t even be able to watch this one because FOX is not broadcasting Titans-Texans in Knoxville. For some reason FOX thinks I’d rather watch Bears-Vikings… 🙄

  2. The Titans will win this game simply because the other teams ahead of them won last week, which puts them in control of the number one pick. In true Titans form they will win this game and fall out of that position so literally nothing good comes out of this season.

  3. So are you saying there's a chance titan up! I don't know if you seen it brad look up Tom brady talking about the lack of qb development how bad it is these days to Ole Colin coward.

  4. Love u Brad. But the Titans have to score to beat the Texans. Something that didnt happen last time. Yea Stroud is confirmed out but i bet Mills can outplay Ward. And again we have the #1 defense in the league.

Let me add this because im not a hater i just think maybe 2 offseasons and the Titans will be resurrected. Need more talent…REAL ELITE TALENT around Cam Ward.
