For the love of the game 🫶⚾

How did you become a baseball fan or who taught you to love baseball? I played baseball for 15 years as a kid and I just love it. This guy. Uh, I grew up going to Mariners games fourth of July every year watching fireworks. So, born in 95, so best time to be a Mariners fan. Yeah, my wife mostly. I I mean, I like the Mariners a bit before, but she’s a giant giant Mariner fan, so it’s mostly her. So, long story. I’m here for a friend’s birthday, but it’s fun. Uh, my dad when I was I was kind of late. I was like 13. Uh, but I really got into the Mariners back then. Um, so yeah, I’ve been a big fan for about 40 years now. Um, my parents met playing co-ed softball, so I grew up on baseball and I’m named after baseball and my brother is too.

  1. i'm 11 rn and my dad played since he was little, so i wanted to play starting when i was about 9. i did pretty good, at least for my first year i was good. that year, my parents took me to a game and i loved it. the next season we watched a few games on tv and went to a couple in person. this year, i started middle school and made varsity. my parents were really proud of me. me and my parents actually went to more Mariners games than i can count. i'm sad the season ended this way, but that just means we can do better next year.
