Seeing Mike Kelly on the broadcast already makes me want to gouge my eyes out, no need to subject me to further Mike Kelly on the sub 🙁
That stat doesn’t show causation. Yes, if your goalie gives up more goals, you lose. But if half of those goals are due to horrible defensive breakdowns and bounces off of your own players, that stat is useless.
This is a combination of actual bad starts, bad defense, and small sample size.
