With the rise of Suggs (leaving out the weird aura farming he’s been going through this season) and his ability to guide the team, and shoot the 3 at a high percentage, there really isn’t a reason to get Garland.
Heck, with WCJ bringing it this year as well, we really do not have a need right now. When Mo Wagner comes back, we’ll have the strongest team we’ve had since the 2009 season.

I wanted this trade last year and still think it would have been a good idea. Franz and Paolo are both great players obviously but their roles and play styles are so similar, I just don’t see them being on the court together for a championship team. I would rather have one of them and an actual point guard. There is still not a single real point guard on this roster outside of Tyus and he sucks. And we’re not gonna have the draft position or salary to get a real point guard either. We’ve essentially committed to trying to win a championship without a point guard which is fucking retarded.
A 6’10” forward is always going to be more valuable than an undersized point guard
Franz is the last player on our roster I would trade, he’s too versatile to give up.
The best stat is availability so why on earth would we want Garland?
Also, while I LOVE Paolo, one could make the argument based on fit and overall game that Franz is more untouchable.
Are they giving 10 1st rounders? Hell no
