NHL Highlights | Sharks vs. Flames – November 13, 2025

to Foley and Coleman catching up only for a few more seconds. Then the puck drops and we’re underway. Sharks and Flames. Glad you’re with us tonight. He’s had some great chances. Here come the Flames off a turnover. Hubo to Fabby. Fabby shot off a stickan right onto the goal. That was an awkward stop for Ascarov, but he makes it. Mlaka, who’s had success against the Sharks in his career, nearly found the opener. Dickson Young Dman turned it over. Zary tried to throw it. Goes to Longford. Right back. Save by Anderson took the bump to make the play. And up ice it goes. Fairy across to C. He’s got lots of time. Cater in. Shoots just off the blocker of Ascarov. Cater is trying to pick his spot. Drops it back for Bean on the tape. Bubbero to Frost. His shot handled by Ascarov. And he swipes it to the far boards. Weaguer now with it. He’ll carry and shoot. Sharp angle. Piece of the cuff of the glove I believe of. Yeah, he’s just a really thoughtful guy and that intensity I’m sure that’ll shine through on the broadcast. Always fun with Scott and Eric involved and high dangers obviously favoring Calgary that way too. Oh, what a play at the line by Weager. Spinama. His shot off the glove of Mascarov. That would have been highlight real material. the better. And Ryan Reeves is going to come out to the point and try and take away the middle of the ice. And Weaguer just spins around now. That’s the best save by Cadri out of the corner on to Weaguer. Finn on the pass. Cadry picks it up though. Saves it on the ball down low. Karen’s looking for a touch. Clenberg got a piece. Not out at the line. Weer shot right on. Rebound Barbe and he was hoping back trying to beat the one in net. That was Ascarov, but it was right in front of him. Anderson a little puck bobble but he holds off Tyler TF’s advances. Now back in behind the DDS off the post. What a move by Michael Blin. He’ll draw a penalty but he nearly finished it off. This puck out of midair. I thought Raspus Anderson throws it right up. Yes, it was a midair. Dehar reaches in. He’s going to take a two-minute hooking penalty, but a great effort by Michael Blin. And right off the post. How close is that? They’re getting their chances though. Great hand eye by Michael. Flames have the momentum this period. Trying to cash in here. Cather his shot just wide. Deflected. Hoover in front. Caught. Oh, denied by Ascarov who stayed with it. And Gra who has a shorty this season comes up. Able to hang on to that puck a bit longer. Wraps it around. Good road to grab but alone. He missed it. Not in cohesion with Weager backs out the man with the puck. In fact, it does work out well for the Flames up ice. Four Flames converging. Coronado straight to the net. A shot stop. Rebound and Frost was right there. But the left shot they’d love to see a one on the board. to Weaguer. Shot knocked down in the skates of Karens. He was tied up and it does reach Ascarov. No problem. It may be just a little bit more urgency. I don’t want to overlook that. Wolf stop because after all that Flames pressure that puck goes in, it’s a way different feeling. You’re exactly right. So good eyes by you partner. Flames. Another test for Ascarov and he comes up with a stop. Jeff Skinner lead in the first period. The update from the Sharks is he will not return tonight. John and Kelly. Thank you, Brendon. Likely likely means more of the man lining up at center. Mlin Selbrini. Some strong penalty killing numbers here. And Coleman braces up ice. He is a short-handed goal this season. Coleman and shoots and nearly snuck it through Ascarov. Now to Kurishv. Kurishv shoots. Short side stopped on the sting side by Wolf. Or takes the shot. played back over by Wenberg, but he goes back to the bench as that punt comes out. Panzik with 5 seconds left in the kill. Will go to the bench. Sharks with some speed, but now a chance for a break. Here comes Cadri with Coronado out of the box. Cad to the net hard and just missed going around Astro. Terry was holding the line. Made sure that pass to Lombard. Ball shot stopped by the left pad of Ascro. [Applause] Boy, the Sharks are caught out there forever again, aren’t they, John? They have had some lengthy shifts. Flames have had some long possessions. Nearly turned over at the end of the shift by Zary. Now it is turned over. She scores. [Music] Coleman with the beauty. Williams lead it one nothing. Last one. He’s starting to take the game over. Cavry great up now. Watch his power move. Going to get around the defense and gets body position. Ascar with a check. And then let’s take a look. What did I say in the first period? Turnovers. That’s the problem for the Sharks. There’s two of them consecutively. And then Blake Coleman takes advantage of it. Goes that one off the tips of Coronado right to celebrate. Swung up ice but that was changing. Didn’t even spot that puck. This one floats in a low field. Let it go off skate. That one nearly available. Now Bean finds it thrown to the front and Ascarov will take a breath. Coronado sends the flames back in. Frost just finding some time. What a pass over to Rasper Anderson who handled it out in front of a rock. Finds Fairy to the front. He was looking for Cadry. Couldn’t get there in time. Carriage cross ice right to the Hall. What a stop by Ascarov. Here’s that hockey sense we were talking about with Carriage. What a beautiful pass across and Flames one for one. to find that puck. So, bring hung in there to Foley to Smith. Point blank and a right pad stop across ice. Puck hopped over. Got in the grab back to the line. Play to Curesev once again. Kurichev. His shot rising. Piece of that by Wolf. And Backlin will have two options as he skates it into the San Jose zone. Back puts it on and Long chip for Karen’s looking for a change. Flames can’t get the puck out. Zary hustling after it. Sharp cycle back to the line. Dickson shot tipped and just wide by Reeves who was in front. Stole the puck and Orlock down. Kubo does pick it up. It’s in his skates. Corn set up. Hot shot off the mask I think of Asterov. Flames like what he had. And he’s back in the pole tonight. Being his shot stopped Ascarov and the rebound came out. Excellent pocket pick by Barby Flames just doing it all. Cy trying to finish but a glove from Ascarov. Gets in the way of that. You can definitely see how he can read a play really well. It’s going to really help him. claims six shots allowed after two periods. The fewest since March 12th at that shot blocked. Comes back to the front and another save. What a great save. Dustin Wolf Don Cel on the doorstep’s got a great shot. He gets a great opportunity right there. It’s partially blocked though, but the puck goes right back in front. Watch Celebrating quick little backhander across the line to Robert. on the porch. Lumber is still all along shoots and have got enough of that one to keep it out. Kishv off his skate plays want to turn it around. Coronado turns it over to Poland. Shoots stop looked behind him and he keeps it out. Pretty mad himself just banged his stick on the ice after shooting wide. 18 seconds to go back into the Calgary zone. W keeps him moving. Backwood will clear. Hustling up. It empty scores. [Music] [Applause] Saved his best for last. Here’s a Celini shot. Now the battle behind the net. Sharks are going to try and just go low to high and reattack. Here’s Celgrini. Get it back to Clingberg for the one-time. And a great save by Smith and Michael B just flips this into the neutral zone. Beautiful play. Hanzik chases it down. Scores two nothing. That’s an impressive win for the Flames. A nearly perfect night and the Calgary Flames get a two nothing shutout win. The final over the Sharks. The first career shutout win for Dustin Wolf against his hometown team. [Music]

Dustin Wolf stopped all 16 shots he faced, Blake Coleman scored his seventh goal of the season, and the Calgary Flames blanked the San Jose Sharks 2-0.

  1. The Sharks did not look ready for this game at all other than Askarov. I am not taking anything away from the Flames but tons of Sharks turnovers that even on the Flames broadcast they were saying the sharks needed to play better and stop doing that.

  2. If I was the Flames or a Flames fan I would want to lose every game by one or more to guarantee a sure thing top 3 pick for being the worst team. For most teams in the NHL wins are meaningless and will not help them get closer to a cup and only hurts them in the draft. There is a few exceptions of course where winning builds the foundation to cup or a really good chance at one but there is teams like the leafs and wings where I do not think any wins really help them.

  3. This was tough. The sharks were due for a loss but the game plan tonight just read "Yaroslav Askarov". They played slow, couldn't put very many passes together, and generated very little offense. I'm glad that Askarov's save percentage will go up after tonight and be safely over .900. Easiest shutout Dustin Wolf will ever have in his career. Hopefully they bounce back next time against Seattle.

  4. Вслед за Canadiens
