NHL Highlights | Ducks vs. Red Wings | November 13, 2025
And first time in seven, Joel Quenville’s
group scored fewer than four goals in a game. He’s concerned that a loss following
a run like they had the next game for Leo Carlson. Carried ahead here by Simon Edmonson
on the wing for Sidder. flipped one through and Lucas Dstto will hold on as the in their
days there when Verbique was with Steve Eisman in management with the lightning and he got
a full no trade from him in a four-year deal that sent right in on Doall and a save was made
out on by Compos in just a little bit too tight digging it free there is Casper gives it off
for Kane back to the line good keep in there by Edmonson for Sherro the slot knockdown
backhand and try and couldn’t be helped. Another one that get blocked in front and then
a good solid save by Dustell and start paying a little more attention to you. So did uh go
to 23. Save made there off Larkin by Dostell. Quick feed ahead for Appleton now to Casper. Oh,
good stop by Dost everywhere. But Dostall felt that one. Well, Casper has a habit of going to
the net like this. He pulled it and snapped it. He had him moving a bit and he jams in. That’s
why a lot of aftercurriculars happen when number 92’s on the ice because he’s sticking his nose
in there and they don’t like it. That’s second in the NHL. 3.94 goals, four per game is second
only to Colorado at four a night. where they give up things is defensively and under Joel
Quenville Mick. Hundreds and hundreds of games coached in the NHL. Second to Scotty Bowman.
I mean, yeah. So, there was no fooling around, but he’s he had a short-handed goal in the first
meeting this season against Detroit and two goals and three points October 31st to Terry who’s
all alone. Big stop there. They double forch check number 77 Edmonson. And oh my goodness, all
alone in front of the net. Is that ever created nicely to Brinket there. The Brink dropped it
off. Gets the return feed and a save made and the Ducks didn’t respond as they thought they
should and they wound up losing first time in eight. Here on the wing comes Senica and a
piece of that off the left arm of Gibson. It’s a pretty good shot by that kid. Yes, he can
fire at number 45, the 19-year-old from Toronto. Given up by the Ducks in comes the Brink and a
shoulder shrug save there by Dostall. Sandine Pelica wasn’t sure where that was going.
Carlson able to drop one back for more and across. What a stop. What a sliding save there
by John Gibson with with young Sandine Pelica. Look at him coming back through center ice
right and then gets his in white and orange. Edmonson to it wide. Oh, and a good stop there. Dost and a one-time from Bergrren.
Lickety split to make a nice stop and actually Bergrren shot didn’t get where he
wanted it to. You got to go short more about wear and tear than Patique. In comes Senica.
Senica pulled it back looking for his seventh goal of the season. Top by Gibson. Rolled right
back to him and he’s looking up at him going, “What are you doing?” Obviously
something got under his bear saddle. He did what the coaches wants him to do.
You got a guy digging for gold around your goalender? Take a chunk of them. Now, the
last time they had a a pileup like this, the only player to go was Anaheim. And 10
seconds to go in the period. And a rush here for Anaheim. Pelica’s back. All alone
in front of the net. A big stop on Kornne by Gibson. I’m guessing without knowing five
quality scoring chances in this first period. Big time. Our Gardner White intermission
report. Much more insight from our data analysts Mike Kelly. He’ll join Larry Murphy
and Trevor Thompson there for Kane to keep control. Played back here for Cider. Cider again
cross to Raymond to Brinket. Screening scores. Power play goal. The shot from Cider
finds its way. Red Wings one- nothing. Isn’t that interesting? You said, Ken,
when you made the call, the screening in front and it was the Brinket that did a flyby
across the front of Dustell. Somehow the puck gets between everybody. It went off Lome, I
think. And the Red Wings break the ice. Yeah, went off number two. You see him with
his head up in the air after it go and he waited for his mates to get on side. Kicked
away by Dostel. kept in by Johansson. No, he didn’t. A break here for Senica on
the wing and it got knocked down and they tie it up. It’s Goce. That line has come
through all under 22 and Senica to Goce. The puck is tipped by Johansson right there. Now on a different angle, we’re going to
show you the pass was pretty much taken away, but he it went off the heel of his stick and the
goalender has to play the shooter and that leaves Goier with a wide open net to tie the game.
Wow. Cutter Gochi in his 100th career game. Behind for Cider now for Raymond. Raymond
slot came back to Edmonson now for Cider. Cider with a shot. Save made rebound. Oh, and Lin
just pumped that one wide. Go able to recover for the Ducks. Threw it toward the goal off the
outside of the net. Barren for Detroit. Up for Cot with the lead feed to Rasmusen from
the dot. Pulls it back. Scores. Wow. Whoa. What a shot. Michael Rasmusen makes it two to
one. Rasmusen pulled it back. Watch him here. He pulls it back to snap it right there and
it goes off the stick. That’s what it was. Oh, right over the left shoulder and into the top
corner. So, it changes direction. Dastel had a beat on it all the way until it hit. Had a chance,
but Cider broke that up for Dbrink. They pressure on the forche. Not much room. Jackson Lome brings
it in. Plays it back for Crider. scores. Great shot. Chris Krider’s got his 10th goal in his
13th game as an Anaheim Duck and we’re all even again. Wow. But enough of Crider being left hand
shot on the right side. Credit Lome for most of this. He’s looking. What a back play that is.
Holy smoke. That’s a shot and a half. Short side. Lome fooled everybody by going to his
backhand. And the key there for Strider was he barely handled the puck and he banks it off
the short side goal post. Oh my. Oh my. Able to find Sand Dean Pelica to an open Sherro. Moving
it down for Barren and that goes high over top of the bar. Scores. Axel Sandine Pelica. Let it go.
It finds its way through and it’s three to two. The Red Wings react to the tying goal. What
the heck did this hit? Traffic in front. So, they’re getting traffic in front
of the goalender. It hits him. I think it went all the way through and it hit
him in the bottom of the blocker in the second period. Here’s Raymond. looks for some space,
finds Atkinson. Save made nicely. And I think it was his left skate that he was trying
to get a good edge on and he tested it and liked it and he said, “Okay, we’re done. I’m
going back.” Power play offensive zone draw. Scores. So important. Tipped in front of
the net off the cider shot faceoff win and the Red Wings up by two. 4 seconds. Wow. How
important is that? And they they’ve lamented the fact that they have not the power play and
they do. Four seconds in and Alex de Brinket. The importance of a faceoff win. Oh boy. Below
the crossbar. Oh boy. Goender drive you nuts with a play like that. Got the got the blade of
the stick on it. completely change directions but again you win a f one of the veterans on this team
up with Mitch Nikov back for Stro just returning to the lineup first game for him for more through
a crowd they score with that hit a crowd going to the front of the net and going there was Male
Granlin whether he got a piece of it or not like like the like the debriate goal A tip that
completely changes direction. In this case, it knocks it right down with one
bounce right there and over top of Talbat’s pad to make it a onegoal game. Again, pretty good hand eye coordination right there by Gron off the heel of his stick. Senica
goes back here for Trouba. Shot wide and a race for the puck. Lin. He escapes. Larkin’s
in. He’s got Raymond with him. Raymond back to Lurin. Scores. Answer right back. Redwing back up
by two. What an awkward way to score a goal. What a board battle won by Larkin right here. Oh boy.
Oh boy. He got up. He got positioned to Raymond. Back to Larkin. Oh, it barely hit the back of
the net. So he tried to feed through to Raymond. Wouldn’t get there. Larkin played a self pass
back. Lark and spinning at the line for Brinken with the empty net. Scores Alex to the Brink.
He’s got two and three points. Red Wings by three. Miss Lionus come to play tonight. Boy,
the board battles. Larkin winning that one against Synica other all
around. Pretty good stuff.

Great bounceback game against a good team!
Why was Gibson pulled?
Don’t care it’s only November, thats a HUGE win, against an up & coming squad.
This was arguably Gibson’s best performance in a Red Wing sweater, so the injury puts a damper on this win. And the awkward looking 6’6ish Rasmussen and his goal was just straight bizarre looking, but whatever I’ll take it. Hopefully he can get going.

9 goals in the game, and they all came in the last half of the game. No other sport can compare to hockey.
You should’ve showed the bit of Ross Johnston waiting for someone to come between him and Edvinsson before he threw a sucker punch into Edvinsson
Finally wings win a game
The Red Wings finally did something right… against a good Anaheim to boot.
