Playing goalie for the leafs right now is an unfortunate job

I’m optimistic. I need to shut down the doomer inside my head.
Cowan has done well under pressure when I’ve watched him play in Jr, and I think it’ll translate well here based on his earlier games this season. It’s a great opportunity for a hustler player.
My hope is the team feels the pressure to end the losing streak and to not throw Woll through the ringer in his return.
Surely Woll can’t be ready, are they just going to let him get conditioned in the NHL given their goalie situation? I wouldn’t want to risk him blowing a knee or groin by rushing him. Lose some more games while he gets ready, what’s the difference?
Or is this good news somehow about Stolarz?

With a 3.72 GAA and an .885 save percentage with the Marlies, Woll will be right at home behind this blue line.

With Matthews and Laughton out, and Domi playing C, we desperately need Centres, not more wingers. Idk what the point of bringing Cowan up is unless we’re moving Nylander to C or something. If Laughton is coming back soon though, we could reunite the godly preseason line which could be fun.

Cowan is fine. I’d rather see him in vs Jarnkrok who does fuck all when he’s playing. Blais is not a goal scorer but at least he hits people.

Every time I read Activated, I imagine the player does this.
How about a suitcase full of cash magically appears at the Flames GMs doorstep and we get a sweetheart deal for Kadri and he comes back home after the loons ran him out of town for being a good soldier.
