  1. Seems accurate. I will say as someone who came from nba twitter, this place is even more extreme in game to game opinion swings. Imma give it a week until Jokic is a fraud who was privileged to play the Heat in the finals, SGA and Luka are a tier above Curry/Harden/KD, Giannis is a bag less clown who can’t shoot, Wemby is the best player ever

  2. Since OP didn’t list W/L record (which matters a ton for MVP):

    ——————

    – Jokic — 9-2
    – SGA — 12-1
    – Giannis — 7-5
    – Luka — 8-4
    – Wemby — 8-3
    – Cade — 10-2
    – Mitchell — 8-5
    – Maxey — 7-4
    – Sengun — 7-3
    – Brunson — 7-4

So before people freak out about who’s stats are better and why their favorite player should be higher, consider the players record as well.

  3. If Bucks weren’t 2 losses away from being .500, Giannis would be my clear #2. I think he’s been phenomenal, but the record isn’t helping him

  4. So, literally the lineup of Team World in All Star Game.

2020s is really the decade of International Players.

  5. I was initially shocked at how low Jokics assists are compared to his normal, and then I realized it’s just weird formatting🤣

The stars are having an INSANE start to the season

  6. If this list holds up and one of the top 5 wins MVP, the last player from the United States to win MVP is Harden in the 2017-18. Free trade works!

  7. Formatting here is awful lol

I thought Giannis was averaging 35 9 9 and was thinking when tf did he get those assists and where’d his rebounds go.

  8. I believe that Jokic will have the record to justify it this year.

Although, if Detroit ends up 1st in the east with a top 4 record in the league Cade will win. That’s my dark horse.

  9. Good chance Luka will not win MVP ever in his career. The last time someone won MVP at 30+ was Nash 20 years ago. I doubt Luka is winning the next 3 years given that SGA, Jokic, Giannis are two leagues above him in advanced metrics. I think Luka’s defense will take a noticable step down at 30 too.

  10. Lol this sub wqs raging not even 4 days ago when SGA was sitting at 1.

Now its all about discussion in here.

  11. Would genuinely be fine with any of these guys winning. The individual performances this season are insane already

  12. Top of the MVP ladder is the presumed starting 5 for the world team at the All-Star game. I’m actually really excited for how it ends up.

  13. A 36.1 PER being 3rd in the MVP ladder is insane. That would be the highest of all time…if Jokic didn’t have 39.3 this season.

The league has skilled its way into 1960s level counting stats with modern efficiency.
