I think we all underestimated what Mims does for the offense.
He's going to give them a boost. I wonder if Payton is drawing up some mad scientist gadget plays where they both lineup in the backfield?
Maybe a double wheel route?

If by mad scientist you mean screen than yes
He is probably thinking about more way to run screens
wildcat formation with harvey throwing a screen to mims for….a gain of 2!
Himsvy
Heck, put Tillman in the back field.
FREE JALEEL!
Alright Sean dial me up a play action sweep into a screen
I’ve been saying it for a couple weeks- the way this offense gets creative is condensing the split outs and let guys like Harvey and Dobbins/Mims operate in tandem out of the backfield in gun or pistol sets. Enough of the jailbreaks and bubbles, let our fastest guys get lost behind lineman and force a matchup with a LB one way or another, instead of these old school trips formations telegraphing quick pass since we seemingly have zero other concepts designed for it.
