it hurts every fucking day i hate being a gen z fan of dfw teams oh my fucking god
i went back yesterday and rewatched and relistened to a lot of pods and reactions to the luka trade for some reason and my god i really can’t emphasize how much pain i felt that night. like obviously it’s just sports at the end of the day but i genuinely felt sick to my stomach.
i tried to watch other teams after but ultimately i think im shackled to this team because im from dallas and nothing ever hits as hard as watching the team you grew up with play even if they are awful. you can’t replicate that connection unfortunately
Take me back to that day or basically anytime before Luka’s injury on Christmas last year we were doing just fine and now everything since February 1st has been a nightmare about this team nothing but pain 💔
that “first finals app since 2011” really made it special 🙁
