  1. Just went to the lager house for a show on Saturday and said what’s up to the ghosts of tigers stadium. Hate that it’s just a parking lot now.

  2. Coworker of mine just gave me a jacket that was apparently worn by Robert Fick on the last game at Tiger Stadium. It has the number 25 on it which he only wore that day. Fick hit the last HR ever at Tiger stadium on that day which was a grand slam in the bottom of the 8th.

  3. I cannot believe that place has been gone for so long. For better, and worse, there’s nothing like Tiger Stadium. Natural skyline views are great, but I liked that it was an actual building. When you went, you were in there , and the grandstand was steep.
Miss the bleachers, camping out. 440 to center, diamond shaped field was unique, 8 bucks, free for the late innings…
Cecil Fielder tubbing around and occasionally whaling one….
Casually watching a legendary infielder pairing Trammel Whitaker automatic 2 outs…

  4. So many good memories there. Favorite seats: upper deck reserve, between home and first. Runner up: center field bleachers.
