NHL Highlights | Canucks vs. Hurricanes | November 14, 2025
Vancouver Conucks. Lucas Riel, Brock Besser,
keeper Sherwood is off to an outstanding season with 11 goals starting up front for Adam Foot.
Here we go. Get the puck in the Vancouver zone. Quickly slap back in the hurricane zone. John
Walker goes back to get it out. It comes for Stall. Stall zone. He’ll get it to Gossar. Gossar
shot trickles through and it’s taken off the goal line by Sherwood. Healers has found his footing.
Five gamepoint streak, three goals, three assists over that time for Carolina. Chance now moving.
Stanovven with a tight turn. He’s shot right out. Bend it off by Lankin. Now Meyers, he can’t keep
it in. Chance there for Es bouncing drive goes wide. Stanovven centering and Tyler Meyers all six
foot seven of him gets in the way of that chance. Every shift that Logan Stan Kovven has in one
way or another is purposeful. Created that chance. Heavy release. Nice blocker save from
Langman. And people are going to work. Sasson trying to clear this one out. Support. Now an
entanglement. Here’s a chance for Vancouver to score. Sasson takes advantage of the collision
just inside the Canes blue line. and Vancouver goes up one- nothing and in particular between
the legs he created his eventual goal. Yes, there was some good fortune with the collision
at the Carolina blue line but he pokes a puck and catches Taylor Hall in the process. Then
you have the collision between Gosses Bear and former Hurricane McKenzie Mckran and he
shoots it in stride. You could see coached was indecisive but it’ll find it try to back
in this one out to center ice. He does stall on the way to the bench. Bat this one back
in the connect zone. 1545 left here in the opening period. Here’s a steal. Jarvis, he’ll
get it to Aaho. Back for Speednikov. He scores. Andre Spetchnikov ready to let it go and
he ties this game at one. What a heck of a job by Jarvis to kickstart this whole thing.
knocks the puck out of midair and then holds down to AOS giving Stretchnikov a time to
get in one timing position and Stretchnikov has added this slap shot to his repertoire
and we’ve seen it on display recently. Oh, what a job by Jarvis to set the whole sequence
in motion trying to spin away from Dander back to the point from Miller. Here’s Jarvis
separating the defense. walks right in like it and makes the jump save. Kes are 6 for
48 on the man advantage this year. 31st overall get right to it and score. Shane Gostas bear
tease off Andre Fetchnikov. He’s two for two and Carolina has a 2-1 lead on the power play
and you can get into your set arsenal of plays. Steelers wins it and does so clean. Six play
pass with zip from Gostar. Really good win for Nikolai Eers and two slap shots on the two
balls for Spetchnikov. A tool he didn’t have in the toolkit his first couple years in the
NHL. and dealers continues his point streak coming right out in front and check does a great
job to get across on Jake de Bruss don’t put the breakaway on him but he moves so much better
than he did on this Son goal just joining us Seth Jarvis took a high stick it was friendly
fire now a giveaway for Carolina and a chance they score Patterson short-handed on the miscue in
the Kane zone and Patterson jumps all over it. His fourth of the year. Puck management this week
has been a challenge. The hope drop pass. You wonder if Patterson possibly called for it. Not
Walker mishandled it and then the drop is part of a typical power play entry, but not in your own
end. The drop usually happens in the neutral zone. that Jackson play the return down low. Nice play
as Aaho with a drive. Gostas bear tries to bat that one out of midair but second chance to get
it out and he’ll put it right on the tape. Walker will get it to Martin Nook. Right back shot
low. Martin Nook jumps over his stick. Stall with a follow up. Back to the blue line. Kept
in for the moment by the nail. It’ll be escorted out by Vancouver trying to get a break. Besser
with it. Besser long shot kicked away by coach. Miller for Nestrom. AO plays it back. Nestrom.
Shot. Got to bounce to Miller. Right on. Save made by Lankin. Oh, what a sprawling save. A
tip your cap. Big save. AO. His pass to Flex. Riley puts one right on. Rebound by Robinson.
And Lankin wide Connor to clear it out. Sends it along the way where it’ll be Rockatu with it.
He’s shot right on. And that’ll be absorbed on the kill overall this year. Vancouver operating
with the errone shot deflected wide breaks the stick of Miller. He’s got to drop it. So now
in essence it could be a five on three. Trying to take away the pass. They score. De Brusk was
up front but Connor Garland gets free and this one gets through. Coachov and no mistake with the
puck movement. Same pass. Miller, no stick. Wow, that’s an underrated finish from Connor Garland
to get this puck with the pace he did to the net. That front from Jake De Brusk. I mean, that’s a
pretty amazing finish. And he has just moved into the top 10 all time in scoring in Vancouver Kuck
history with that assist. Finish rather high. This is fires with a shot. And now here’s Blake. Long
second period change and the Canes take advantage. Chopper Nation. He wings one that steer to the
boards. The boards out of the zone. Sherwood turn away from Miami. He’ll put one high. That’ll be
caught and hung on to by Lanken. Works around the boards. Get through for Garland. Darling sends it
out of here. Circle the net back. AO right on. Oh, gets to the rebound. Lanking comes across. Still
loose. No whistle. This puck will be picked up by Sherwood. And he’ll eventually leading to this
Aaho one-time and then the Hall rebound. Lankin has made some big saves. Keandre Miller prior
to the Vancouver power play goal. Now two here, but Nestrom created it. reminder. Get yourself
checked as Stall’s drive will be handled there by Lanken and go through the treatments for still
be a player this one up. Eers will turn back to Blake. Blake to Eers out in front. Stay open with
a shot. Shoulder save made by Lang and L. Robinson is taking Seth Jarvis’s spot on the penalty
kill as well. This is whipped chance here as Brasu shot right on in. Big save there by Cochov.
He was 5 seconds away from getting Blake out of the penalty box. Kane with it in the Kane zone.
Knock back down and Vander Kane. Shot kicked away by Cochov with Gostasar around the net. It goes
for Aaho. Sebastian Auo taking a look short side. Lanken makes the save with a chest. Rebound into
the corner. Scooped up. Fetchnikov. Walker lets it go quickly. Another save. Rebound and Lanken
gets to that one on Gaspar. Carlson is that taken away. Walker go behind the net. Eers back. That’s
Rock has been lanking. We’re below the goal line. Eers puts it flat late in the period. Oh, and he
located that at the last second. He looked one way. The shot came on the other side. Gossar
works this one for Walker. Walker in traffic. Spec out front. He’ll b it across hanging a blink.
Goss bear rims it off the post. off because it’s been all Carolina. Deceptive. Sold the shot.
Did Blake Lankin he he definitely full bite? He’s had good offensive numbers
this year as Kane was trying to get into a fight. He got backed into by Nestro. Keep your head on a swivel there, kids. A chance
fashion goes back and Taylor Hall ties it. Oh, what a setup and the Canad Kane and Miller
dropped him. This wouldn’t happen. This gorgeous tying goal. Heavy lifting from Specnikov below
the goal line. D’s bear has been dangerous all night. Makes the extra pass. Full commitment
from both Lincoln and the defenseman. Meyers and Taylor Hall out glass and off the boards
Martin Hook. Martinook stays on his skates, cuts to the front of the backand Lincoln with
the save. How about this move where, as you said, Mike, he would have brought the the roof down and
it would have been particularly special for him because he played his junior hockey in Vancouver
for the Giants in the Western Hockey League. The cross for Nikesian. Alexander Nikishan
trying to spin away from the Keker. He does. He’ll get it to stall out in front for Nikian
and Lang makes the save. N will be chipped out here by Carolina but Vancouver seals it.
A chance stepping in is draw by Coach. Eers has got fresh legs. Eers pressing
the issue across for Blake. Blake stra shot deflected rebound going to be knocked
away. Gostas bear cranks it up and Lanken gets across to make the save to Gostas Bear.
Eers has a lane. Eers shut Lincoln and makes a save. Doesn’t know where the puck is and
he’ll get the whistle. It’s right to his right cuz that was a heavy shot. Same three
stay on the ice for the Canes and another win for Aaho. AO turning around Patterson. Oh god.
Game over. Sebastian Aaho wins it in overtime. Sebastian Aaho won not one but two
critical draws late in overtime. Puck possession was on display in this overtime.
Uses Garland as a screen and wires it by Lan. to end this thing. The overtime magician he’s
been had one against Vancouver in overtime last year. And on the game that Sebastian Aaho
ties his captain, Rod Bryndeamore on the all-time games played list here at Carolina,
he puts this come from behind victory to Back.

Filthy shot by Aho
Go Nucks!
Wooooo Hurricanes!!!!
Horrible refereeing. Canucks lose hronek from a cheap elbow
Надеюсь Уолкера посадят на лавку за такие косяки.
Aho the OT magician! He goes to another level every time!
Those Canucks really brought the fight to the Hurricanes
The Canucks suck as usual.
Still a farm team?
We beat Canada, woooo! 💯🇺🇸
Geez take walker off the pp after that turnover to Petterson for a shorthanded goal
Pyotr Kotchetkov undefeated, go Canes
Dang. Canucks without their best two players, had rookies, and AHLers and still went to OT. Amazing
As a Fin, what can I say,
It takes a Fin to beat a Fin.
