The cliche in hockey is you want to start the game hard and physical and really set the tone. And that’s what he was doing right there. We’ll get a face off after the puck stays covered up. As we look at that last save again, James, it is absolutely incredible and so impressive to see a goalender just out battle and outwill his opponent to find the puck. Lots of hockey left to be played in this period. We’re still scoreless. The Bruins get a hold of the puck on the right end to the floor. Stompage in play as the puck goes up and over. So, this is a smart shot that makes it way to the back of the net. The Leafs take a whopping lead here in the late bowlings of period number one. This is a huge goal momentum wise, isn’t it? Yeah, James, if you score a goal at the beginning of a period or at the end, it really sets the tone and temperature for your team. And it also puts your opponent back on their heels, and that’s exactly what you want it to happen. But now that the game is wide open, you’re heading into intermission. So that’s going to give both teams an opportunity to reset. You got to find a way to continue to push in that second period. Chaining steam here on the attack. Well, things open up for both sides a little bit here with some fouron four action. Few ways to play a fouron four. You can sit back or you can be very aggressive on the puck. Well, when you’re in tight to the net, you don’t have much margin of error here. And he’s able to find the back of the net. It’s all about accuracy. Not necessarily how hard the shot is. The Bruins answer back in timely fashion here, Cheryl. Yeah, they give up a goal early in the opening frame, not the way they would have wanted to start it. But if they can get out of this period and the score is tied, it is a win because when you’re looking at the barrel of a team that was all over you, you’ll take it heading into the intermission. Well, I love what he’s trying to do here, James. He wants to separate the body from puck and that’s exactly what you got to do. You got to play with a competitive edge and an intensity. They know how much it means, but it’s the next shift that matters most. Now, James, you want to kind of push and put pressure on your opponent when they’re down. That puck comes off his stick so fast the goalie can’t get a read on it. It’s in the back of the net. Boston’s gone up by one here in the second period. And I like that jump in their step we’re starting to see here now. We’ve really seen an uptick in their momentum in the last few shifts and they’re rewarded with that goal. James, they’ve got to continue to attack the net, ski downhill, and not be afraid to get to the paint. The Leafs play along the boards. Boston’s got the puck in their own end. Quick pass to Peacher. Puts a little buster on the hit to knock the puck loose. Moves behind the net. A totally whiffs on that one. The Leafs are in transition. Puts it in deep. Austin’s got the puck in the defensive end. James, score on strength is critical in the game right now. You got to be strong. You got to be hard on your stick, especially on goals like this. The rebound comes out. You got to be able to corral that puck quickly and get it off. The Leafs have shifted momentum after that equalizer. They seem to be moving a lot better as well as executing with the puck. And that’s something that is critical as they move through this game. It’s the reason why they got the equalizer. And the referee caught that trick on the play. We’ve got a delayed penalty coming up. The Bruins are going to be shortanded as they are called for tripping. Oh, coaches hate sticking fractions. They’re real frustrating. You’re right there. You’re in and around the puck. You go fishing and you wind up in the box. Toronto’s got another opportunity here on the man advantage. They haven’t scored on their power play yet. They’ve earned this opportunity.
