[Rapoport] Broncos RB JK Dobbins will be out on Sunday vs the Chiefs with a significant foot injury and is believed to be out for the foreseeable future, per me and Tom Pelissero. Dobbins is still working through options, and while there’s no final determination, IR remains a possibility.

I don’t think they will IR him at this point in the season unless they think he’s done for the year. Sucks.
My guess is a minor lisfranc injury that isn’t too painful for him to play on at the moment but they worry will progress and widen if he continues to play on it without getting it surgically fixed. Would seem to fit this type of scenario.
