Coach Spo on Niko: “I love Niko and I love his potential. I have to be reminded all the time that he’s 22. I want him to be 28 right now. We understand we have to be patient with him and Kel’el. But I’m going to be very impatient with them, as well”

  1. He’s 22 but he is who he is at this point. Jovic seems very immature basketball wise and to put it bluntly, soft. I rather we trade him and focus in developing Jakucionis as the future playmaker

  2. Yeah Niko will get there, but when and for how long determines if he’s going to be a one time all star or a hof.

  3. Disappointed in his performance thus far for sure. But i’m willing to wait for our only other center to come back from injury to see if Jovic playing his natural position will yield to better results in his performance.

  4. Yup. We all get frustrated with Niko but he’s on his rookie contract still /shrug. He’s not a grizzled vet. All we can do is hope he finds his footing like Jaime seems to be finding his.
