Let’s start maybe just take us through the game. What you thought of the team’s fight in this one? Yeah, it was a good fight. They’re a good team. Um I think uh maybe third period we didn’t I think they took over and we’re just fighting to not having to score but um overtime was pretty good. Try to make a move, lost the puck and then they got momentum. Kevin Lincoln has really stepped into the position with Demco out. Makes 34 saves on the night and he’s got a lot to come still. But what do you think of his performance? No, I play great. I mean, if he make doesn’t make all all those big key saves, we uh we don’t stand out with a point at least. So, um he’s um keeps giving us a chance. You got a backto-back coming up after this as well. What just more do you want to see from your team heading into those? No, I like our fight. Like our competes. Um small details to maybe um I don’t know. just I think overall our game is is good but just some small details we can work on. It was hard to get a lot going there early against the Hurricanes, but you took advantage of your opportunities in the first period, including yours. Yeah, that was um just tried to read a play and I don’t know if their their player missed the pass a little bit, but uh yeah, got a good chance to score shot and was a good goal. Max, you guys take this one to overtime. What do you think of the team’s battling it? Uh yeah, I mean, you know, I thought there was pockets of the game that were really good and some that, you know, you got to clean up. I thought the first period was pretty good and then started taking two us a bit. I thought we settled in and, you know, obviously when you go to OT, uh, you know, I thought we had some looks and, you know, anything can happen and, you know, they bury it. So, talk about that first period. You get the first goal on the first shot of the night. Where’s your game at right now? How are you feeling in this one? Uh, yeah. I mean, I felt good. I thought when we advanced pucks, uh, you know, we got a lot of oddman rushes. Uh, they’re super aggressive. Um, you know, Mac made a really nice play and, you know, it went in. Um, but, you know, overall, I like my game, but I still think there’s more to improve. Talking to about this as well, but Kevin Lanken really stepping into this role with that Demco out. 34 saves on the night. What’ you see from your goalender? Oh, he’s incredible. Um, you know, from the time he’s gotten here, he’s uh, he gives us a chance to win every night. He made some amazing amazing saves and um just to honestly get it to OT. So um full credit to him, he played his butt off on your on yours puck comes free to you there. Is the decision is the uh is the success of that just the quick decision to go five hole or did you did you have to pick that spot or what did you see? Uh yeah, I mean that’s a shot I work on a lot. Um I like to go five hole so you know that’s kind of my shot and luckily went in. Max Asen finds a net early to start the game and then you guys take it all the way to overtime. But what did you see from your team in this one? It was good. I mean, we played against a really good hockey team. They’re fast. They forch check hard. They they’re in your face and uh we you know, Len’s played well. Um you know, we we’re going to learn a lot from a game like that as far as it’s a it’s the closest you’ll see to a playoff game that we’ve had so far. And um you’ll learn a lot from games like that. You see you learn a lot just because the way they pressure you all over the ice, Adam. Yeah, they pressure and you know, you have to manage the puck or you’ll get burnt and you know they work continuous and uh you know we we actually had success when we were working and did some really good things as well. Um but you know it’s a good game for everyone to go through. Um you know it’s good experience. You guys were defending a lot there at the end of the second period but in the third it seemed like you really kind of settled it down until they they got the tying goal. Yeah, we settled it down and we were we made a few adjustments getting to the weak side of ice and uh it worked the guys when you know we we did a good job there. Uh the tying goal was just a mistake. Uh you know we doubled up. If we’re going to double up we have to have the body and then you know the pass got through us once then twice and and you know we’d like to have that one back but like you said they had the pressure on us. So Quinn Hughes did skate this morning uh wasn’t available tonight. Can you tell us any more about that? No, he looked like he was going to be okay and then uh I think he went out and tried it this morning and then when he had his nap and woke up uh he he didn’t feel like it was right where he needed it to be. So he’s a guy that you know he he wants to he wants to play. So um you know we respect that call. Anything more on that Demco who did go on the IR today? No just the way Lankin battled through he he played so good. Uh he battled and uh he was relentless like he’s a true pro and and uh you know uh the game could have went either way. Did Rona get pulled by spotters? This.
