ESPN released a report that said cornerback Reekquillan does not intend to resign in Seattle at the end of the year when his contract is up. This led me to tweet this basically saying, “Hey, it makes sense. He’s not a scheme fit in Seattle anymore. He’s going to go to a place where they play more man schemes for corners on the outside and he’s going to flourish. Now, he’s going to be in Seattle for the rest of the year. He should be a starting quarterback for you and he’s played really well. So, get the most out of him while you still can. That tweet eventually got liked by Reek Woolen. What does that tell me? I think this is going to be a mutual breakup. You’re not going to see anything really messy in the media. Reek Woolen is still a really good corner. He just doesn’t fit the direction where you’re going. Get the most out of him while you still can, though, for the rest of this year. He’s in Seattle. He can help you win the whole dang thing if you use him correctly. And he continues to play extremely well for you. Make sure you subscribe to the channel.

The thing about Woolen is that early on (this year) he was picked on as being a performance disappointment by the peanut gallery. And he was consistently portrayed as trade bait. As this season progresses with the Seahawks in contention to win it all …Riq’s goals will change. The Seahawks under Coach Mac is a franchise that will draw talent at every position from across the league. Players want to play for the Seahawks.
He's sees the writing on the wall, Josh Jobe is the cheaper option that performs just as well if not better than Woolen.
Why are we in the business of letting guys go flourish elsewhere?

I don’t want to say dudes garbage we all know the potential dude has but he just has not progressed he had an awesome rookie season and that was it. When you have 2 different coaches that have to bench you that’s kind of a red flag in my opinion. Especially when one of them coaches is Coach Carrol. I wish dude a successful career.
