I think Penix deserves another year with a better coaching staff and I still believe he can develop into a starter. He had issues coming in pre-draft but it sounds like Raheem and Terrys personal impression of his arm pushed us to draft him.

We'll see if Raheem and Terry are actually good at evaluating QB talent or just got impressed by the sound and velocity of his throws.

  4. We don’t have any other option but another year of penix – our first next year is already burnt. It’s pretty clear what will happen: Raheem is out next year, we will get the 3rd, 4th, 5th best option at HC, we will burn bright with fiery hot optimism as if mediocrity doesn’t follow our franchise religiously, and in 2027 after we’ve inevitably disappointed, start the cycle over with another reach at QB or overpay in free agency.

  6. Tom Brady didn’t have amazing arm talent. Jeff George did. I realize that wasn’t the only thing they looked at though.
