I think it’s time to give the guy his shot so that he can develop into the offense after OZ’s drops last week. Also, besides last week, this analysis supports the case, at least against man. LBIII’s one route last week was sharp.

We’re 9 games in. Ben has been clear about the people earning the spots earn them, and we don’t see every single thing that goes on in practice.
We’ll see Burden whenever coaching staff is ready for us to see him. I’ve not seen any reason not to trust them so far, I’m not tying myself in knots when Loveland came into his own perfectly. Not everyone’s timeline is the same.
Definitely. Ben definitely watched oz drop passes and an easy td pass. Ben also definitely saw the missed effort block that rattled caleb. Coupled with luthers reliable hands, route running, explosive plays, hard blocking n yac effort. The switch for wr3 is definitely coming. Especially with Ben saying luther deserves more. What Ben says he usually does. OZ was always the stopgap plan anyways.
Ben’s offense is extremely choreographed. A lot of the time routes are being run by multiple WRs specifically just to get the primary read open. While I agree I’d hope we could get our 3 most talented WRs onto the field at the same time, I think it’s entirely possible that the routes Ben uses OZ for may be better run/understood by him than burden at the moment or up to this point, since he has a lot more experience.
Ben probably values his schemes being properly executed above everything else, but I’m sure he’s trying to think of how to get burden more touches at the same time. Hopefully as the season goes on and as burden learns more, Ben will increasingly work him in.
Hopefully starting Sunday lol
Probably Burden gets more focus, but I’m just glad to see Rome in great company, right near Chase and Lamb.
It’s almost like Burden is a rookie who missed a decent chunk of training camp due to injury.
I’ll let the coaches decide this time.
Lmao dude is alone on an island. But i trust the process.. bear down
Man Beater is my favorite Hall and Oates song.
I can see it
Dear Diary,
I know better than Ben Johnson.
Love, Meatball.
Here’s the reality: we signed DJ Moore to a big contract and he’ll be on the team through 2029.
We signed DJ during his prime and every year that goes by we can expect less and less production from him. He’s still very good, but no other team will want to pay that money for an aging WR.
And, since he’s with us – he’s going to be getting a lot of targets.
