Why Roman Wilson Is The Steelers’ Future WR2, Not Calvin Austin III

  1. They need to draft a receiver in the first round this year. Wilson can be a WR3 but the offense is impotent without a legitimate receiving threat next to DK

  2. You guys don’t want to hear it, but….

Calvin Austin might be our WR1 after this game. Dk metcalf is averaging 6 targets a game (WR2 numbers) while Austin is averaging 5.13.

Aaron goes to Calvin 2 more passes this game and he might be the target leader per game..

  3. I foresee Calvin Austin leaving after his contract is up, and going to somewhere like the Rams or 9ers and being very effective in that type of offense. Don’t really think he’s a fit in Pittsburgh

  4. Here is a take, neither of them are anything special WITH the Steelers. I bet if they left they would be better.

  5. Or, both are, at best, number 3 guys, but probably number 4 guys. Certainly not number 2 guys. The excuse of not having a good QB is over now for CAIII, he is fast, and doesn’t have great hands, and has never performed with any consistent play, ever. Wilson is having trouble getting on the field at all. This team has been desperate for a number 2 for years now. Desperate. It’s a major failure from Khan.

  6. This offense sucks. It’s antiquated and not a modern offense. This franchise has no plan for the future and you are going to see it soon. Who will be the QB next season? Oh shit we still have Tomlin and all the other coaches? It won’t matter

  7. Odds are, Smith is gone after this year as a retread HC, & Steelers get a new OC & changes everything.

  8. I’m not saying either one is ass but if they’re the #2 then the #3 will definitely be ass.

  9. The guy has done literally nothing in 2 years…how is everyone so optimistic about him? Boggles my mind
