Now he will win for the lakers it’s a crime
Absolute phenom he was, Nico was a dumbass but the media coverage of him and other pundits definitely contributed to Nico thinking Luka was the problem lol. They shat on him so much even when he put 73 always harping on his defence. Whilst Jokic is glazed as the goat by the same people with piss poor defence.

A true warrior
My fuckin GOAT
And AD can’t even see the court
Just can’t win with a guy like that /s
But “he was out of shape.”
And you would think that trading this guy would net you the biggest haul in the history of the Sport, looking at the Gobert, Bridges trade etc. Like one Borderlands Superstar or two All-Star Players plus 8 picks or sth like that.
It can not be overstated how absolutely criminal the return was. Its absolutely unexplainable.
Still farming off his name. Bro, have some shame.
dont forget he should be back to back… he was robbed the year before because he played some 5 minute games for no fucking reason at all which dragged his average down.
Can we fire Nico again?
Got to point this out here:
Donnie discovered him, Nash and Dirk. He made deals to get them all to the Mavs on draft nights. That is so difficult to do in and of itself. He also drafted Jalen Brunson in Luka’s draft in the 2nd round. If Donnie hadn’t been fired, he would have gotten JB re-signed guaranteed. Nico inherited Donnie’s Legendary Greatness! He lit a match to it.
Anyone who disputes any of this, should ask all four of these players what they think of Donnie. If still unsure, see where Luka had Donnie come back into basketball and work for his Slovenian National Team this summer. Donnie should be in the Hall of Fame like his Dad. He is a Legendary assistant coach, scout, and executive. Seriously in this regard, A 🐐, just like The Don!
What would have hurt more, lossing him in a freak accident or having him traded the way he was?

Nico: “better get rid of this guy in a fire sale so we can win now”
