Boston’s core has been cracked — time to redefine their identity ☘️

You know, it’s more than not having Tatum. It’s just a lot of questions got to be answered now. What type of identity is this team going to have? You know, what kind of chemistry is going to come out of having all these new pieces. Uh they got younger. Uh they got less experience because when you look at Drew and Porzingis, they brought a lot of that. They brought a lot of championship experience. So, you know, they got to refigure out their identity. Well, Pete, think about how much they not lost, man. that Porzingis and Holiday alone, you know, when you tie to a rope with, you know, uh, Tatum, Brown, White, when you got them other pieces in there, you moving collectively, right? You move, you lose two of those major pieces and then a third piece ain’t even here, right? So, I didn’t really know what to expect. I had watched a couple uh preseason games just trying to see what it looks like before, you know, finished product. But um it’s definitely going to be one of them ones where Jay Brown’s going to have to take a a lot more responsibility and just leading. It’s not so much of how you do something, but it be how you lead the group. Especially when you got a piece like Tatum out. So I think you need about 20 to 30 games you start to form an, you know, identity. You know what I’m saying? Ain’t nobody really talking about Simon. You know, he he’s quiet. He kind of flies under the radar. He’s going to be great. He can get a bucket when you need to. You know what I’m saying? So, you know, give me about 25 games and let me watch let me watch how they rock against, you know, younger teams, teams that’s on the same level, teams that are better to them. Let me let me see him a couple times and then I can give you a fair assessment.

    I like Simons. And JB needs to LEAD. it’s his team right now. JT is GONE. and yea, losing Jrue and Porzingis hurt BAD. BUT, we can still get into the tournament and make some noise. JB just gotta step up.

  12. It's time to get back to playing defense Paul, it's all there is to it! Since Mazulla came on, we've gotten away from playing hard nose defense because he's all about an exaggerating offensive mindset etc.

  16. Queta has the highest Net rating of any Center in the league. He and Brown are our best players this year. I think the Defense is lacking in the starting line up from having Pritchard out there. Last night Orlando picked on him and he got 2 early fouls, but ended up having his best game. Coaching isn't pressing the right buttons.

  19. We are a very young team. New players about 25 games then I will know what we got. Just go out there and play defense and play together and play for one another. I. Believe in this group. Celtics 4life.

See KG bein real we are legitimately in Rebuild mode we went from having one of the tallest rosters in the eastern conference to now the shortest on top of that a good portion of the factors that we did lose had a lot of experience we got newcomers which we gotta build chemistry I even think if JT was in the same position as Brown rn we’d probably be in the same predicament
