He’s a decent 8th defensemen but he’s also not very good. Don’t know what the plan is here but i guess it can’t be worse than what’s going on right now? Can it?…please tell me it can’t

I was hoping the Leafs would claim him. If he can regain his old form he is a versatile, puck-moving defenceman.
I like it, someone who can move the puck and has some heart/motor. Both things the team needs.
Good pickup for the leafs, he’s a good depth D who plays hard even though he’s small, had some really solid games for the Oilers against Dallas in the playoffs last year.
Kinda wish the Oilers could have kept him, as a depth guy at league minimum he was pretty trustworthy
