[Klis] Source confirms Broncos are placing RB J.K. Dobbins on IR with foot injury. (1st by @adamshefter). The injury requires surgery to repair. So Dobbins, a free agent after this season, is out for foreseeable future.

  16. Surprised? He hasn’t been healthy his entire career. Sad for him and the team. He was the anchor for this offense.

    I’d sign him again for a one year deal for less $$. He’s a top 5 back when healthy

  25. Man, I was really happy for JK seeing his recent poat game interviews. He seems like such a cool dude, and a great veteran presence in the locker room.

    He has stated that he wants to retire in Denver. I’m sure he’ll be a huge help to Harvey for his first official start as the main guy.

  30. So…did they place him on short 4 week IR or season ending IR? The report doesn’t specify, but ‘forseeable future’ is incredibly ambiguous. Could he return for the playoffs or the last few games even?

  32. I usually wait a couple seasons before buying jerseys, but I may make an exception for Dobbins. This freaking sucks and I hope he’s able to come back for us next season!

  42. Recently he said he was born to be a Bronco. Now I am afraid he will never play for them again. What an absolute bummer.
