He’s not the next Brady, he could barely run for 7 yards. He’s also not the next Landry Jones in terms of skill set. He might be in terms of career QB2.

The Steelers QB3 is a known unknown. He’s known bc he was on the biggest stage in CFB. He’s unknown bc he hasn’t played a single snap in the NFL.

  1. Scoring TDs against dudes wearing orange is an important skillset for a player in our organization.

  2. He is certainly athletic. Big too. You can’t teach those things. I absolutely do not believe he will be a top tier starter in the NFL but it would be a waste not to find out. Big, moves well, by all accounts a good leader and a good teammate. Want to see him get his shot.

  3. Remember when we picked up Pickett because of the fake slide run? Pepperidge farm remembers

  4. Steelers fans have this aggressive horniness for back up qbs that we have no business focusing as much energy on as we do. The comments for making Josh Dobbs the starter a few years back was baffling, whining about drafting Chris oladokun in the 7th and then cutting him after camp, the push for Mason in the in between has been insane, arguing duck Hodges was a good qb is just ridiculous

howard could be great, I have no idea, but Christ on a cracker Steelers fans we railed on media hype for shedeur sanders and yet here we are trying to hype up a guy who hasn’t played a down of nfl football and hadn’t practiced in months due to IR status

its fun to play what if, I get it, but were setting up a house of cards doomed to tumble at a slight breeze the way some of y’all are screaming for him. He’s a 6th rounder with limited arm and processing who benefit from playing on the most expensive team in college football last year at a university well known for cranking out athletes and not qbs no matterwhos the HC
