I love how much you can see with this angle and wish the broadcasters used it more often.

  1. One day multiple camera angles will be available on demand in real-time, all for the low-low price of……..

  2. They need to stop cutting to so many damn angles during live play. Why am I missing a huge turnover because they wanted to switch from the broadcast view to some behind the opposite net shaky shot lmao

  3. Fine for replays but when they start switching the camera view during the play it’s awful. Stick to the center ice camera during live play.

  4. I hate this angle when it’s my showing my goalie lol I always feel like they’re about to score

  5. This angle either makes me really excited or really anxious for no actual good reason.

What we really need to talk about is ESPN’s godforsaken camera angles.

  6. I wouldn’t mind them showing a few angles on the screen to see the action a little better.

  7. I hate it because it makes me anxious (when it’s in the penguins end). It just seems too much like a replay of a goal and I feel like like I’m about to see something I don’t like.

  8. Welp, totally though this was chel

Don’t need this angel in the broadcast but give me a NHL premium sub where I can pick whatever camera’s I like and I would 100% sign up.

I love this angel for the PP.

  9. Absolutely not. This angle is not showing the game, it is just showing the goal. You lose perspective on distance, can’t see the setup of the players and their movement, and the action is relegated to the background instead of the foreground other than the few moments the puck is at the goal line/around the net.

  10. Unironically I feel like you can tell how long someone has been watching hockey based on whether or not they like this view.

  11. Need ESPN to play anything besides the sound of passing cars in Bristol, CT during commercials.

  12. Hot take, I love this one for the power play, all the interesting plays get made out of the corners so we don’t need to see them anyway
