NHL Highlights | Maple Leafs vs. Blackhawks | November 15, 2025
Big part of the reason why the Hawks have been
so strong this year since tied for second in save percentage in the entire National Hockey
League. This one is underway and the Hawks get control off the opening faceoff. Pired in
center. First period is brought to you by Toyota. Classic over to Kier. The Twin Towers out
there together. Entry denied though. And Knander falls to one knee and here comes Nzo on the back
end. Stopped by Wall and he’s able to hang on. Matt Bersick will chase it down near side being
hassled but makes a play and got it out the center right down the wing as Ko along the glove save by
Wool. There’s Burkovski back to Wyatt Kaiser with a quick shot wide. Green and a battle chopped
off his stick. Bernard reaches in gets it back to the line to Lenov Shaw turned away by Wall
Panger. You talked about it earlier. The Hawks have not given up a home ice first period goal
this year. Here’s Matt with a shot. They’ve been coming out ready to play in this building every
night, haven’t they? Absolutely. The preparation has been outstanding. Whatever’s going on
in that locker room, a new coaching staff, it’s got their attention and they’re ready to
roll. Speeds it ahead. Puck played on goal. Knight steers that the corner number 35 retired
in Chicago in 1988, the same year he went to the Hall of Fame. Was that that wire cage being
held on by tape hanger? Did I see that correctly? Le with a shot. Knight with a save and no rebound.
Look back to us as we approach the midway mark of the opening period. Look out. Giveaway shot
by McMahon and Knight sees that all the way. Stick save into the corner. H trying to get some
fresh legs off the bench. Make a change. Keep a tired set and leaves on the ice. Folino with a
chance. Big stop there. Dolby knocks it free. Puck in the slot. Jab that settle down. They keep
the pressure on. Here’s Lechenov off the bench. Burovski. Lechenov stumbles back to his feet.
He’ll walk it across. Arnam Lechinov still with it in tight in front. They score. Green on the feet
from Leov. And the Hawks take a one- nothing lead. An incredible shift in the
offensive zone. Five on five. The Leafs were on the ice for a minute and
35 to a minute and 45. They were out of gas and not able to figure things out. I mentioned
activating the D in the offensive zone. Well, there you have it right there. Lechnov slides in
with good instincts. He made that play happen on the left side by going down low for the pinch.
And look at Green getting the goal through the wickets off the stick and in. And he’s got
tons of family members here from Newfonland. Riley’s back. Pocked up. Shot. Stopped. Rebound
onto the stick of John Devaris. Go on the scoring inside. Six left in the first. Puck kicked into
the zone. Murphy bumped by the defense by Neman Lar. The pass comes in front. Big save by Spencer
Knight. What a chance there for NY off of shin pads. And here’s the play there by N. Strong on it
and right off the toe. What a great right pad save that is by Spencer Knight. Focus on his right pad
there. And then you can see that heel of his skate dig it in. And then the outside of the post as
well. Yeah, there it is. Right on the outside of the post. Play it in behind to Robertson. Tamarz
with a shot. That change speed off the stick of a Hawk and it’s on the pad and then covered up
by Spencer Knight. Swept around by Machelli. McMahon pressured six with it. Now it slides
free in front. Machelli tries to make a play. Puck comes loose. Another stop by Spencer Knight
that time off Bobby McMahon. But here’s a down low game. McMahon hunkering down, holding on to
pucks. That’s a tough way to play defensively. So the Toronto Maple Leafs are doing what the Hawks
did. Cuts it off behind. Did a good job to keep it in the trapezoid and clear it himself. Such
a great stick handling goender. That was harder looked. Linal minute to play. Preier chasing.
That’s intercepted by Robertson. He’ll get it behind the net. Tamar is wraparound. Shut down by
night. Puck loose. They score. Deflected over the shoulder by Nick Robertson. And it’s a one-1
game again from the goal line. This is where Toronto are getting their chances. A little soft
dump right there. And the first man in Tavveris. He takes the body. That allows the second man in
to get a hold of the puck. Robertson. And a little wraparound jam play there by Tiver. He’s very good
at that. And Robertson slides. He Robertson was in the top of the circles. Good second ever
by Tveris. The Hawks do not take the man and battle hard enough in front of the goalender. And
it’s a loose puck. There’s the wrap. One chance, two chances. And then Robertson’s the first one on
it. Gets inside position. Kaiser pressure early in the period. Lean off. Walks the line. He’ll work
it down the left wing in front. Back hand. Chopped out. Wool. Gloves that. He’s able to hang on and
now Leonov takes control. He’ll play it across from Kaiser into the zone with Bernard on Bernard.
Back hand over left. Passes. Oh, stayed out. Shut out the puck bounces up the center. Now race for
it. How about these for our heroes and and then this is the the play over here to Kaiser. And
it might have gone off the side of the body of the defenseman, but clearly off the post and out.
Bernard counters, gains the zone, makes a play, flips it off, turned aside by Wall. What a shot by
Bernard. And Wall with a great stop. None better than this one. Pass by Bard. Forehand backhand and
the right toe of Joseph Wallen. And the puck goes over the crossbar. Now pinballs over Riley off
the post. Close call there. That hit something on the way and rang directly off the iron. Knander
wristed the pass towards Tamaris. Dropped off. Knander cuts in deep. Pass in front off the heel.
The stick bouncing puck and it’s fired wide. Oh, he just missed. How did he miss that? Was
Robertson going for a second right now on this ship. They keep the heat on. Played to the other
side. Dropped off. Here’s Knander and Nick. Played a pass in front. Broken up by the Hawks defenseman
Lenov. Been out for a while. Some tired Hawks on the ice. Knocked out of the air. Burkovsky said
it shouldn’t have been blown out. It’s enough. Here’s a chance and they score. Riley finds
the back of the net after they have the Hawks hemmed in and make it 2-1 Toronto. There might
have been a or should have been a stoppage and they’re going to check the video review here. But
let’s take a look at closer look at the goal the exchange. You can see the way Tiverus takes down
Lefto’s got nothing at the tank at that point. I think the feeling was was that puck knocked
out of the air with a high stick. Yep. Right there. And it was that’s why that’s why
Terra Bon Binan was arguing and you can challenge that Per that puck was above
the shoulders and I’m sure they are going to. We’ll wait for the official ruling Pangar,
but looks to me like that’s a high step. Well, it’s a good call by by Adam Gill and Matt Mechum
in the video room. After reviewing the play, the call on the ice is confirmed. We have no
high stick. Therefore, we have a goal. Chicago benchm penalty. Passed across to Bernard.
Picked up off the boards. Bernard looking in front off the mask of wall that hit a stick
and then a little headbuck by the goalender. Not a whole lot of screen in front of him there.
And Bard tries to play this to the front, but it ends up going off the stick of side of the goal
for Bonado. Hopped away from him. Murphy indeed able to get it behind the net to Dorado. Power
play comes to an end out of the box. It’s Callum on a partial break. Right in off the outside of
the post, the mask of the goalender. And then the break going the other way. Forehand, backhand.
And he he had what he wanted to do. You can Here’s Riley shooting. Stopped by Knight. Rebound
still loose wide as Robertson raced in. This is a solid play and makes a nice little
pass to the corner and that point on you can see that play there. Green comes
back to help. He’s got the Hawks go in this game. Look up. Topped up. Nice big
save. Rebound turned away. Lock traffic. Yarn had a good look there. Terina banks
it out to Nazar. Chipping in trying to get onto it. Nice pass back to right and scores.
What a goal table. This one’s all tied up. This starts in the defensive zone. A good
faceoff win by Terrain. And then a nice pass as the Hawks defenseman knows he’s going to
get hit. But wonderful play by Nazar battling his man making a backhand pass to Terrain. And
Terrainan shows slickness right there. He goes to the backand. I thought he was going to carry
it. No, he decides to take it to the forehand quickly and chip this one over the blocker off
the post and in brilliant fashion. What a goal that is. Might have hit Bernard too. Ben turned
over. Here’s Bernard forehand. Pad saved by Wall. Bernard gets it back in front for McCam. Can’t
settle it down. Pressure w in front. Here’s a chance. Big save by Knight as he stones the
rookie east count. Hawks on the counter. Termin looking to extend that to 11 and three. Here’s
Moore racing onto a P. Oliver Moore right in. Stopped by Wall. Oh, what a pur of speed by Oliver
Moore. And Wall had to make big save to keep this game tied. Absolutely fly. the former first round
draft pick and Nazar knows it. So he hoist it, lifts it, lets number 11 just go hunt it down
and he does so. Little frustration for Moore as he came to the bench cuz I believe this went off
the shoulder and maybe the post afterwards. No, just off the bank pass blasted in by Donado.
Four and a half left in the third. Paul Do on the puck. Gets it towards McKay oneanded
back to Kremier and he scores tipped in front. Colton Dock with the redirection. Hawks stop 3-2. Just missed on the glove side. And this
one here after Louis Creier gets it from the corner. Good support by McKay.
The shot and this one was knocked from high to low and it’s impossible for the
goalender. He’s looking up. This goes down low and it’s a bouncer. Final 5 seconds.
Riley’s back played in. Time winds down. Hawks fivegame point streak as they come
from behind and beat the Leaves 3 to2.

Canes Fan Here: The Hawks Are Making Noise This Year
NHL clearly has an issue making a decision to get a call right if it involves overturning a call on the ice. The cameras and numerous angles are there and the evidence is there. The stick made contact with the puck at the top of his head and sent the puck by his ear making him flinch. How is that not "definitive" proof?!?
Can anyone tell me where the 5th leaf was on chicago's 3rd goal?
The leafs have always been average , they were just slightly above average with Marner
Let's work on getting to AI refs. This whole season is a mem.
Marner must be enjoying life in Vegas now
As a leafs fan that was a high stick
