Shohei Ohtani and Aaron Judge are your 2025 Hank Aaron Award recipients!

And uh the reason we’re here and we save it for last because it is a Hankar award. It honors the best offensive player in each league. And why does this award have such an important place in our game still to this point? I mean this is the easiest question in the world, right? It’s Hank Aaron. You know, um the opportunity deserves an applause, y’all. That’s okay. Yeah. special the opportunity to have your name associated with one of the greatest players of all time and you know it’s more than just one of the greatest players but truly a great human being all around. I I think that’s why it’s so special. Well, we’re honored to have another great human. You got a chance to see her speak a little bit this morning. Hot stove and and other stuff. I want to welcome Billy Aaron, Hank’s wife. We get a chance to meet her and spend some time with her. She’s She’s uh being escorted by Ronald Akunia Jr. winner of the Hank Aaron Award himself. Atlanta Strong Baseball royalty, y’all. Yes. [Applause] [Music] [Applause] Thank you for doing this. Really appreciate. Thank you. Appreciate you. All right. [Music] All right. Well, Miss Aaron, how’s that feel? That’s awesome. Thank you for being here tonight with us to present this award. And so, I guess it’s time now to go ahead and see who the winners are for this year’s Hank Aaron Award. Obviously, there’s one in the American League and one in the National League. Here’s this year’s winners of the Hank Aaron Award. Hank Aaron Award. Show Otani just at the plate. This is one of the best to ever do it. Showtime at Dodger Stadium. Fifth consecutive game with a Showi home run. How far does it go? What a blast from Shi Otani. There’s nobody like him. Never has been. Doubtful there ever will be. Backto back 50 home run seasons to begin his time with the Dodgers. Aaron Judge. The most home runs for a player who won a batting title. See youa flight 50 has landed. The fastest the 350 any man in baseball history. 50 home runs or more for the fourth season of his career. Give it up, baby. Goodbye. Whatever you can do, I can do better. Judge hits one over the monster seats. What a performance by Aaron Judge this whole year.

  2. 菅野に松井からの圧力を感じたから八百長したのか自分から八百長したのかを白状させないとな。9月にジャッジに2打席連続で打たれた試合後のインタビューで嘘くさい悔しがり方をしたのをはっきり覚えている。菅野の芝居が下手過ぎて私は逆に察してしまった。菅野の罪悪は私の中では一生許せないだろう。日本人の恥とかでは無くあいつ個人の心の歪みが原因だ。

  6. 大谷がナリーグに移ったのはジャッジに負けを認めたからだ。ダサい。それを選手たちはみな知っているから選手間投票では大谷の評価は低い。相手が大谷だったらCal Raleighが楽勝だっただろう。選手間では菅野が八百長した事も当然皆知っている。松井に気を遣って平気で八百長をする日本人の特性をみな嘲笑しているよ。

  14. Let the Yankee fans have their moment. Obviously there won’t be any joy in Mudville anytime soon. I don’t see any Rings in Aaron’s future. But he definitely did help gift wrap a Ring for Ohtani in 2024. Ohtani definitely needed the help. That being said, I’d rather have back to back Rings than back to back MVP awards. Ohtani has both with Dodgers. Jury rules in favor of Ohtani. Arguments in favor of Aaron Judge dismissed. Next…

  20. Stats don't lie ; Cal performance in specific categories playing the complex position of catcher. He was the general behind the plate.
    His defense was stellar. A switch hitter.
    64 home runs. 100 + RBI's.
    Add up his game winner stats, his outstanding performance and then look at an outfield position. The catcher is responsible for allowing the team to win.
    The outfielder hits and plays defense.
    Cals position is extremely difficult to play daily. He did just that.
    Outfielders are just the foot soldier.
    Catcher's are the field Generals.
    Everyone knows New York is one of the largest baseball markets.
    Old Ball players who know the game know who was more talented.
    Ohtani and Raleigh are the two best baseball players today.

    Ohtani is on another plateau. His baseball athletism will most likely never be duplicated again.
    Pretty cool time to be alive in Pro Sports.🎉
