NHL Highlights | Jets vs. Flames – November 15, 2025

for Jets and Flames. Nazam Cadry, he scored in his 10,000th NHL game. Trying to rekindle some of that ahead of appearing with Scott Oak and Eric Francis. And loose puck available. Taves trying to wrap it around. Great save. Wolf with the pass. He’s in position. Missed the pass. Comes across and he slides across to make the save. Wildard spot. haven’t played as many games as most teams. Here comes Frost to break away. Geeks stopped by Halib. Here’s Frost. Now watch the stick move comes in cross looking for the winner moving in. Valardi over to Connor and he had a good look but a glove stop from Dustin Wolf over. Pay attention. Watch. Perfect position. Glove out. Open. Kyle Connor trying to go. John and John with the call of the second period. Well, we were talking about it and nobody’s getting his rebounds either. 26 shots. He’s got no assist. He’s got one goal, no assist. And nobody’s grabbing those rebounds. Conor over to Shley. L tangled up. gets it from Zer in front off the pipe and out. Here’s Kla gets in by himself. Beautiful passing play in tight. Puck dancing a little bit trying to clear it away. Jets come right back to it however. Knocked down. What a play by the back end from Morsy into the slot. Nomesticov returning now side doors denied by Dustin Wolf as he pushed over. There’s Josh Morrisy. Beautiful little move. Tic-tac-toe in front, but it’s tipped wide. And then Jonathan Tate just can’t on the back. Oh, hard hit with his teammate Hanzik who is trying to hold the line. Oh, that is scary. And Hanzik is in some trouble getting back to that Calgary Bank now. A chance for the Jets. They score. Shley in the middle of mayhem. Opens it up for Winnipeg. Well, that big line for the Jets, did you notice them in the first period? Really good early in the season. And there’s the hit. And you see cutting across the line. Back doesn’t see him at all. And now the Jets are heading the other way. Connor, beautiful pass. Connor to Shley. And Shley low blocker side. Shley head up all the way. Dustin Wolf because he’s coming across on the path loses the net just a smidge. And look at Shley. Shley from Connor Morrisy. One- nothing Winnipeg. The Hall low and wide. Bean should score. It’s off the stick. [Applause] JP ties it up for the Flames. And that’s the thing when you’re struggling like Calgary has been, just throw everything in the net. And that’s all that’s happening there. And it’s off cold perfetti. And look at Elbert’s reaction. Ends up going blocker side. And Elbert’s looking at Coerfetti. Perfetti is just coming over and he doesn’t get the pads in front. So milestone assist for Frost to help start the play. The Hall with the others have tied it up. The late call coming against Cal and the Jets score. Pearson on the delayed call. Will pick gets the lead right back as he usually does just because he works so hard. And here’s a play along the boards. Flames are getting a penalty. Jets don’t get their guys on. And Tanner Pearson after it bounces around. Comes right out to Pearson. He’s on his forehand offs two or three skates. goes right over to Pearson and left hand shot right through the maze and you see Dustin Walry actually he still hasn’t seen it goes inerson all the way at the other side of the Winnipeg zone Stanley on the reverse Shen wings at the Jets hemmed in a bit here to ball one timer scores Morgan Cross redirection [Applause] themselves in trouble. Here it is behind the net. Luke Chan throws it around the boards. And now Stanley goes up and throw the net on her but no chance on this one. Good tip about 18 in off the ice. 40 and young players like Celibbrini, Bedard, and Schaefer demanding consideration. 2-2 heading for the third. John and John with the call. Thank you, Scott. Lots of Morsy rotates over Shley down low. Valardi pull move and Wolf was running for it. Now Mor Connor shoots on the post. They make it and score. [Applause] Another bouncing puck this time off the pipe and he’s got it for Winnipeg. And you see, okay, move the puck past a little. What a play by Dustin Wolf. The post check on that one. Get the puck back. Move it fast. There’s the shot. Goes through Wolf. Comes out the other side off his shoulder off the post and right to the net. And you can see the Winnipeg Jets puck movement. move the puck fast and there they are. The Flames just don’t have time to react. Hubo keeps it alive. Give and go with Anderson. Hubo. Coronado. Back to Hubo to Frost. One timer blocker stop. Heluk can’t get through. Hubo is trying to bank it off Coronado. That’s a hard pass. He’s hoping that it goes off the six on four for the Flames. They’re going all in here. [Applause] traffic in front. Doesn’t shoot. Anderson does. Stop. Scar ties the game. [Applause] [Music] Overtime. We talk about this. Four games last night in the NHL. All four went to overtime. And how many today and tonight? This is the fifth one. Chaley Connor Moresy. Glad you’re up late with us for hockey night in Canada. Overtime in Calgary. Jets and Flames tied at three now. Hubo could be a twoon Roman Weaguer. Hubo in overtime. Hold shoots off the stick of Moresy who closed. It looked like Hubo was going to try and throw it across. Morsy stays in the middle. Stays in the middle. In the last second, out goes the stick. Ubero to Cad had it all wrapped up and couldn’t find the top corner. Cad hit hard by Lowry. Anderson keeps it in. Over to Hubo and he had that far post but missed. Generate one more look for the Flames perhaps. Hubo with time running out. Goes to Popka into the corner and we’re headed for a shootout at the Saddle Dome. power play and you can see Mark Shley is still upset about Jonathan Hubo first attempt this season. Hubo in on Hobb wide snaps and stopped by Helo trying to do a little pole and posed doesn’t move. Stick pad down. Has been in a lot of shootouts. 52 goals in his career this way. Taves coming in on Dustin Wolf. Taves straight away shoots blocker stop by Wolf. If the goalie doesn’t freeze, you’re in trouble when you go to the forehand. And you can see Dustin Wolf, he doesn’t freeze. Comes across, keeps going across, and as he’s moving across, Jonathan Ta has no room. Flames do not have their shootout specialist Justin Kirkland on the NHL roster. Rasmus Anderson [Applause] snapped it and a stop again by Hel Rasmus Anderson. And you can see Hel just right in the middle of the net. Gets the pads down, gets the stick down. 27% shooter in his career. could come all down to this. Valardi scores. Valardi will finish it off. The Jets win it 43 in a dramatic shootout ending. If you get a piece of it, it’s not going to hit the bar. Not going to go high. And look at where Wolf ends up. He gets a piece of it, but not enough. And Valardi beats him after the Flames tied at late. Valardi is the hero for the Jets who pick up the two points and finish a six-game road trip with a shootout victory. [Music]

Josh Morrissey and Kyle Connor each had two assists, Connor Hellebuyck stopped 31 shots on the night, and the Winnipeg Jets earned a 4-3 win following a shootout.

  1. Huska is SO stubborn when it comes to the shootout and who he picks. Frost makes sense, he’s scored this season (twice if you count preseason), but everyone else? Always a random grab bag from a select group of players that aren’t always their best players (Kirkland would usually be there but he was waived, hasn’t scored in the shootout this season either). It’s like he’s trying to be clever or something, and falling short more often than not.

I like Huberdeau, but he was not looking great that game, and Andersson? He can be good shooting from the blue line, but really? Picking him over your other forwards? How about Coronato, who scored this game and has been pushing hard recently? How about Kadri (you know, the one who scored the game winner against Edmonton after 7 rounds of not playing him?)? I just don’t get it. They had success last year, but that was largely because of Wolf and Vladar (same with Wolf against Edmonton, only one goal allowed in those 8 rounds).
