If Bo Nix Levels Up 1 More Time For Broncos 👀

The thing I keep hearing is like good teams don’t look like this. And it’s like they did. The last time we were here, they looked a lot like this. Payton Manning stats were legitimately atrocious. But the big thing was when the game was on the line, he found a way to get us in the right play and found a way to get just enough points to overcome the defense. It’s a little different when it’s not the quarterback on the field who’s in charge of that. I really think Shawn Peyton can get you in the right play. And so I’ll go back to what I said last week. All Bonenix has to do is level up one more notch.

  1. The kid is evolving. He's still assimilating and syncing his brain with the speed of the game. Also, there's a lot more film on him now, so defensive coordinators have more to look at and scheme for. Nix has a particular set of skills that already translate to the league. He's got other things he needs consistent work on. His trajectory as a 2nd year guy is on track.

  3. Sean Payton still is calling plays like drew brees is still his QB.. he needs to evolve his offense into nix look at oregon.. not saying he needs Oregon's offense but nix needs a offense that is him

  5. Mahomes is gonna have his best game against the Broncos. #21 Moss is gonna get scorched. Expect a lot PI’s and their receivers getting behind the defense. No way the Broncos DB’s can keep up with their receivers!

  9. I think people also need to factor in receivers as well. Yes, the Bover throw is killing us a bit but look at how many times our receivers have dropped pretty basic throws. It's not just on him

  14. Everyone also needs to remember Nix is only a 2nd year starter. Yes, started 60 games in college, but most of the NFL great QB's were 3 or 4 year starters in college. Elway was 13-3 in '84 in his second year but his stats were so so at best. Elway had that special thing that made him a winner. Nix has that as well. People today want video game QB's, but that style, as it looks now, isn't best for a long term career. QB's like Elway, Marino, Montana, Manning, Brady, Young, Big Ben, Favre had long term winnerd because they were in the grind year in and year out. I think Peyton is not wanting to ruin Nix like so many video game QB's have been over the last decade or so. I think Sean sees Nix as that 17 year starter and uses the conservative play calling and Nix's mistakes as learning points. In Elway's first 5 season it was Reeves manage the game and keep it close, then turn Elway loose in the 4th to win. I think we just need to trust the process.

  17. Sure Bo Nix over throws passes, but Denver WRs especially Franklin stops running his full routes. Franklin needs to learn it's not college anymore. Defenses are quicker, and can intercept the footballs better.

  18. Peyton's body just didn't want to cooperate with his mind anymore. It's hard when that happens. But he knew that was it and didn't keep playing after that season. He had the wisdom to know it was time to retire and look for other opportunities.

  19. Bo just needs to fix his awful footwork and his accuracy….dude still can't hit the deep throws and is either not seeing the field or just not throwing to our best wr(sutton)… to me bo has played good in about 2 games and the rest have been mid to ass

  21. one statically bad game and people were already calling for his head. Honest to god if they actually knew how hard it was to play QB especially at the pro level, you wouldnt be hearing them talk at all

  23. Anyone Bronco fan who boos or says we need to move on can first get fucked and second you know they just became a fan and didn't live through the last 10 year or three they are stupid!
