Graf on Team’s Motivational Rap Song, His OT Goal | Sharks @ Wild Post-Game (11.11.25)
Colin, what did you see on the goal there? Yeah. Uh, just came out there and puck sort of got to Mac and, you know, I just skated in the net with my stick on the ice, I knew he’d be able to find me and once I got it, just tried to make a quick play and it was fortunate enough to get one. It seemed like you beat him pretty cleanly, too. I mean, the puck just hit you right for the backhand to to beat Gus there. What were you seeing for specific? Um, yeah, I think, you know, his his momentum was probably taking him the other way and just trying to have some poise and take it across to the to the back post. So, it was uh it was a good move. It was fun. Not the team’s best 40, but the final 20 was kind of everything. How important was it to kind of keep that momentum and that mentality that you guys would be able to stay in this thing? Um, yeah. You know, as you said before, it wasn’t our best. I think uh you know good he put some music on got the boys going going into the third just sort of trying to trying to get the vibes going trying to get uh everyone’s spirits up and it worked for sure. What was the song? I He’s right there. I don’t know. I don’t know the name of it, but what kind of what kind of vi like country rap? Yeah. Got you guys going. Yeah. Yeah, exactly. It got us going. Your goalender had to keep you going, too. How important was he for you guys tonight? Yeah, I mean they’ve both been playing great. He’s been playing unreal, especially these last two games basically. Just unreal out there. Just it’s uh gives us so much confidence, too. Especially when he’s when he’s back there and then uh on the PK, too. It was great. What’s it do for a team when you have your goalies both playing like that? Like feels like you’re never out of the game. I think it’s just uh it’s a confidence thing, right? Like, you know, you have confidence they’re going to make the save. Obviously, you’re still doing everything you can defensively, but it allows us to uh, you know, start rolling and feel confident. I think that the mentality of having confidence is important for us. And I know you’re, you know, anytime you’re in an NHL game, you’re excited for it, but when you get the tap, you’re jump you’re joining the the top line just, you know, put a little uh, you know, uh, excitement in your step there. Yeah. Um, you know, I think it was just sort of a mixing up. As you mentioned, the first 40 wasn’t great. So, it was uh just obviously they’re really both really skilled players. So, I think it’s just trying to play off them, trying to get some pucks back and then uh try to give them the puck and have them make some plays. And on the bench on the bench and and when you were with the line, what did you see for how they were defending, how hard they were defending uh your line or the celebr? How hard the Wild were defending them? Um, I mean I think it was it was hard. It’s definitely they got to be physical, right? Because I mean obviously every team like talks about them right in the presc. They definitely had a uh game plan to be physical and get in their way and make it hard on them. So I think uh but I don’t think they’re doing anything differently than any other team would try to do. Thanks.

GRAFFER
Look at this Collin Graf!
Graffer is the man!
Ok, I need a pick me up….. What is the name of this song?!?!
Ok… so Sam, Mac and Graf on the ice. Combined age of those 3 dudes is 60. Unbelievable!
Until Will Smith scored, neither he nor Celebrini had a shot on goal. In fact, Celebrini did not have a shot on goal the entire game.
Collin Graf is the most underrated player on the sharks. Dude can kill penalties, score goals on power plays or be with top line, and be a better defender than half our defensemen.
BIG fan of Graf! Dudes skills are all there. His work is clutch for the team. He needs to be there when we go. Lifetime Shark right here.
