1. Fire Joe Schoen

2. Giants need a pass rushing Linebacker and some creative blitz schemes. Nothing looks unpredictable. If the Dline gets stuffed (which invariably will happen), that’s just it for the pass rush and the opposing QB gets time and an open look.

3. I just feel bad for kafka. Little chance to showcase yourself when Bowen is coaching d. No lead is ever going to be safe. I will say the offense plays hard unlike the d.

19. Everyone’s complaining about the roster and it’s fair, but the 49ers and Lions have both played winning football while running out gas station clerks on either (or even both) sides of the ball.

    Our offense seems to be chugging along well despite missing our best playmakers. Meanwhile, our defense is among the worst in football.

    Do y’all think it has anything with our DC playcalling like he has the Legion of Boom in the backfield instead of Flott CB1 and the Bum Squad?

20. If the Mara’s like Schoen so much then move him into another front office position. But whoever they hire as HC should get his own GM he trusts to help build this roster into a winner. It’s not happening with Joe. I bet they realize this by end of season. 🙏

21. The Eagles wouldn’t fire Howie Roseman for making a couple of bad moves. We shouldn’t keep Schoen for making a couple of good ones.

22. Everybody blames Bowen and that’s cool, sometimes his schemes 100% fucks them over. But dawg, Schoen’s secondary/db depth is an absolute fucking joke. Half of those plays if we get a stop it’s a different game and they just can’t fucking do it. And he keeps the same guys out there no matter what cause they’re his guys and it has led to more and more disappointment defensively.

31. Winston played a great game today and got lucky with those drops by GB! I wouldn’t put those two turnovers on him. Dart should take notice at how many hits he took by playing smart.

39. I wish the Giants would recognize and understand that a great Linebacker elevates the *entire* defense.

    Fred Warner does it in San Francisco. Bobby Wagner does it everywhere he goes. Even non-elite but consistent guys like London Fletcher and Antonio Pierce did it.

    I am so on board with a trade down (with a QB hungry team) + Arvell Reese from Ohio State.

40. I’m legitimately wondering if the Eagles have been paying our last 4 coaches and 2 GMs under the table to be as bad as they’ve been understanding that the Mara and Tisch families are too fucking stupid to ever catch on

41. Carter’s year would probably be viewed as a whatever if he were a late first round pick or later. The talent is obviously there, he gets his share of pressures etc. not great that he gets benched for stints but you could explain it away and easily see the potential for more.

    When you’re a top 3 pick in the draft and sold as a generational pass rusher? You have to produce immediately, plain and simply. Fair or not that’s just the way this goes.

    I’m hopeful eventually gonna develop and beast but to say anyone’s happy with his production vs expectations has to be kidding themselves.

43. We win this game with Dart pretty easily I think. Doesn’t matter but silver lining, at least we hung in there and didn’t get blown out.

    Would be pretty damaging for Schoen if he doesn’t pan out

45. The crazy thing about this year?

    This team could be like 6-5 if we had the right coach.

46. I liked Kafka’s 4th down decisions, so that’s a plus.

    The sack on 4th and 3 I’d almost always want the points, but it looked like a decent play call and with the wind it wasn’t a gimme the way it normally would be.

47. This game is the best possible example of why Schoen has to go. The defense has three injuries on it: Adeebo, McFadden, and Muasau. It’s one of the most expensive defenses in the NFL. It should be able to withstand being without the CB1 and off ball LBs. The lack of depth especially in the secondary is damning. Hyatt giving up on the final offensive play of the game clearly he’s checked out. Hodgins being the most productive WR on the team when we should’ve signed him as soon as Nabers went down. Schoen has mismanaged this team to a massive extent and needs to go.

48. Little disappointed in the wind today. Giants had a good game plan but I was very much looking forward to seeing Winston air it out. Run game with the short game did work just wasn’t what I was hoping to see. Also fuck Jaylin Hyatt
