This is the second time Rudolph has saved the season at home against the Bengals, and the final scores in those two games were 34-11 and 34-12.
Penguins and Steelers win, W Birthday
That Washington play…. I think I’m gonna rewatch that a few dozen times. I’ve been waiting for something like this for a while now. A play that typefies what I consider Steelers football to be.
They played with a lot more intensity today than the last few games. Not a fan of the chippy problems, but even before that, they fought harder today. Need to keep it up.
Rudolph looked good coming off the bench. Led a couple really nice drives, epsecailly thr long clock-chewing one to seal it. Those drives had more flow than most of the drives this year.
Apparently, I don’t know how to predict a spot anymore. Some very suspect calls going both ways. I don’t know what a false start is anymore either.
What I like is the winning.
Happy with the performance from the team today, a lot to work on but good to have things to work on after a win rather than a loss. The defensive performance compared to the first game against the Bengals was fantastic, great job by the players and coaches. The secondary looks much better with Kyle Dugger and Ramsey at safety (Boneheaded ejection aside) and I really liked Pierre’s performance too. I’m still not too sure about the offense but they flowed better in the second half, not sure if that says anything about Aaron but I’m hopeful he isn’t getting washed in a hurry as he hasn’t been as great the last few weeks. Also I love Darnell Washington to a potentially unhealthy degree.
Pierre should be starting over slay.
Mount Worshington… That is all
James Pierre had an awesome game. It will be a travesty if Slay takes the field in place of him, but I’m sure it will happen.
AND IF YOU DON’T LIKE THAT
YOU KNOW THE REST
I’m just really happy we didn’t waste that amazing play by Mount Washington in a loss. Now I can watch that replay over and over and over and not feel bad at all.
Summary of the game

Offside after offside
defense has been night and day since the duggar trade.
So maybe that curse wheel stuff is real. Steelers get a huge win but Rodgers and Warren get hurt???
No matter what happens the rest of the way, it just feels good to beat Joe Flacco
Fuck the bungles, fuck the refs, get Ramsey into anger management, LFG team, and see y’all degenerates next week.
Defence had been good 3 weeks in a row now
Applications are open to the Mason Rudolph Truthers guild
THE PITTSBURGH STEELERS ARE MY FAVORITE FOOTBALL TEAM AND YOU CAN GO ROOT FOR SOMEONE ELSE IF YOU WANTED THEM TO LOSE
6-4 and still first place in the North. Suck it doomers.
Rudolph haters are seething rn
I think our new QB, Freddie Mercury , did well
If you would have told me that we would lose Rodgers, Warren, and Ramsey and win by 3+ scores i would have laughed.
Gameballs to Gainwell and the defense. They stepped up big.
Love to see a shellacking against the bungles. I am worried about rodgers though. He really hasn’t played much good ball in several weeks now
Damn we really undefeated when I don’t watch
Is the end game score entirely because of Mason Rudolph entering the game? No.
Am I gonna overreact and pretend like it was and petition to have Mason Rudolph take over as starter going forward? Yes, yes I am.
Hope Rudolph gets to start next week looked good today, gainwell looked good, Washington is an absolute monster. Oh yeah and fuck chase
Fuck Ja’marr Chase for spitting on Ramsey but dumb move on Ramsey’s part punching Chase and getting himself ejected when or secondary is stretched thin as it is.
A wins a win though and onto Chicago next week.
if Rodgers is healthy next week I hope they start him over Rudolph, hopefully this comes as a wakeup.
It just feels like Mason is better equipped to run an Arthur Smith offense which relies a lot on QB rollouts and play action. The offense looked very connected with him under center. Not a knock on Rodgers – he would have been unreal in this scheme 10 years ago.
I personally liked the game plan of not letting Chase catch a billion passes
Did their LT false start like every single snap or is it just me?
Mason lends himself to Tannehill in an Arthur Smith system.
It works. It wins.
i don’t put much stock in scoring 32 points against the Bengals, but holding them to 12 is pretty nice
Duggar looking like a steal, Asante will eventually see the field and Pierre playing well might make Slay irrelevant. Mason with actual poise vs Rodgers jitter bug routine made the offense look competent. Fuck the bungles
Oh and a team that allegedly never makes adjustments held Chase and Higgins to 6-90 and one of the hottest offenses to just 12 points.
We do this against the Bears next week I’ll have more faith. Good W regardless
Call a false start on the bungles you stupid refs!!!!
