The Utah Jazz 4-8 on the year, 7-5 against the number after a 132 loss at home to the Atlanta Hawks in their last game. While the Chicago Bulls 6-5 straight up, 73-1 against the number. Losers are four in a row though after a 12413 loss on the road at the hands of Detroit. And Chicago definitely cooling off a little bit after their hot start to the year. Now they’ve lost four straight on the road. Now granted, they are coming to some of the best teams in the Eastern Conference. You know, New York, Milwaukee, Cleveland, Detroit, and maybe it just goes to to speak that Chicago’s not there yet, and that’s fine. You know, Chicago, I still think has a young core that’s going to be able to do some damage. Maybe make it out of the playing round this season. Maybe make a top six spot. maybe the five or the six seed if they have some bounces go their way and they can keep keep their play up at home. But again, it’s fine that they’re not there yet. The problem is though is that that doesn’t necessarily mean that I want to just jump and lay four and a half points with them on the road. Now admittedly, I have been high on this Chicago team out of the gate and they looked really good in beating the Orlando Magic, but that is that was that was a few weeks ago. Now we’re we’re on to that. You know, October 25th is now three and a half weeks. We’re already three and a half weeks into the season and that’s in the rear view and all of a sudden Chicago’s dropped five of six. They’re taking on a Utah team that has dropped seven of nine, but there’s been spots where this Utah team has been competitive and a lot of them have come at home. You know, the struggles for the Utah Jazz mainly have been on the road where they’re one and five this season. But you look, this is a Utah team that beat Phoenix at home. You know, granted, Phoenix has been a lot better at home themselves. They haven’t necessarily been at their best on the road, but they lost by just two points against what I feel is a really solid Portland team. They got a back door cover against the Minnesota Timberwolves, who are still a really good team in the West. They beat up on the Indiana Pacers, hung 152 on Indiana in that game. They did lose to Atlanta by double digits, but as far as I’m concerned, as long as you’re still catching the Utah Jazz with Lori Markin in the lineup and and a lot of this team still healthy, this young this young guy Utah Jazz team still in the lineup, they’re going to be a team that’s going to show some fight. Now, they do have Walker Kesler obviously out and, you know, Taylor Hendris is still dealing with a a hamstring hamstring strain. Kyle Anderson’s listed as questionable, but I still think that there’s a lot to like here. Now, Chicago, they’ve got Josh Giddy listed as probable. Trey Jones and Kobe White listed as questionable. Um, but we’re catching points here with a an NBA, excuse me, a um, pardon me, a Utah Jazz team that has still been really good as a home underdog. You know, when you look at the Utah Jazz as a home underdog, um, so far this season, you know, Utah’s been performing fairly well. 4- one against the spread as a home dog. You know, covering the spread by five points per game. To me, I think this is a game where Utah can compete, maybe give themselves to pull off an outright win here. We’re going to see the the bull the the excuse me the medal of the Chicago Bulls really get tested in this game and see if they can bounce back and see if they can find the wherewithal to kind of rebound and get it done. So I’m going to roll with the Jazz here plus the points in this one and that’s going to be my free pick.
