Detroit Pistons WIN 8th Straight vs Bulls with EVERYBODY OUT!!! 🀯πŸ”₯

Pistons fans, that is eight straight eight straight victories for the Detroit Pistons. We beat the Chicago Bulls. Man, is that refreshing to say we beat the Chicago Bulls with pretty much our benches bench tonight. Our benches bench beat the Bulls tonight. That’s insane. That is absolutely insane. Legacy game from Paul Reed tonight. It’s not the most he’s ever scored in a game, but it’s probably the best game he had of his career. Detroit Pistons do it without K, without Duran, without Tobias, without Isaiah Stewart. Doesn’t matter. We still get it done, man. Let’s dig into this. Detroit basketball. [Applause] All right. So, on a night where the Detroit Pistons get the Dawn the New City edition uniforms, man, I wish this uniform was was permanent for a while. I can’t imagine what it would look like reverse with the teal, but um we got to wear our new uniforms and most of our players that start for this team uh pretty much didn’t get to play tonight. So, that’s that’s that’s neither here nor there. Um, the court looked good, man. The jerseys looked great. Um, but I I really really wish we had an opportunity to see some of our starters dawn those uniforms, man. Uh, but for what we did have tonight, man, those guys played amazing. They played amazing basketball. Got off to a hot start. Duncan Robinson got going early. Uh, knocking down three-pointers, man. He got real hot and then Dennis Jenkins took the opportunity uh because of the spacing that was going on, man. He got him some buckets um distributed the ball. I think he had 16 in the first half uh was and seven assists if I’m not mistaken. But yeah, this is the NBA and one thing that you know about the NBA, teams are going to fight their way back and that’s exactly what the Bulls did um second half, man. They came out and they pretty much took Duncan Robertson and Dannis Jenkins out the game offensively, forcing him to be more of a facilitator, which is what you want to see from a young guard because you’re not going to be able to do it offensively all the time. We see it with our own superstar at times when teams double team him or you know the offense just isn’t going. You got to find ways to be a facilitator and get other guys going. Um but some key plays from from guys all around, you know, whether it was Green, whether it was Caris Levert cutting to the basket, uh Ron Holland with his defense, knocked down a couple of shots tonight. Um, even though I wanted to to put him in the headlock, you know, in the second half cuz he kept rushing the ball. Like, slow this thing down. Y’all got the lead, man. Let’s burn some clock. Let’s get a flow of the offense. Pistons got kind of stagnant for a while in that second half. Um, and you know, the Bulls was able to scratch and claw their way back. Like I said, they made some some adjustments. you seen Okoro uh come out and he was defending Dennis Jenkins um and and switching in between defending Duncan Robinson too. So that took some of our offense out of us. But guys like Green and Paul Reed, man, cutting to the basket, getting buckets in the paint, looking for each other in the paint, that’s what you have to do. Whatever is not working anymore, you got to make adjustments, man. And and you got to do what works. and we found a way to continue to to score the basketball. Even if even though we had that small pause, Paul Reed, man, pretty much took this game over in the fourth quarter. Um when Duncan got back in, he knocked down a few more shots, but Paul Reed took over, you know, scoring in that paint. Uh Vousvich just wasn’t here tonight. He just wasn’t here tonight. Um, you know, of course they was missing Giddy over there and, you know, and White, but yeah, Vousvich just wasn’t here tonight. So, we took advantage of that. And, you know, Paul Reed was the the spearhead of that whole operation. You know, like I said, 28 points out of him tonight. Absolutely just, man, 13 rebounds, but I think six or seven assists. Uh, I think he shot like 11 for 13 or something like that. you know, the game is still going on a little bit. He may have scored again. Um, but like I said, whether he scored 30 or not, this is probably one of the best performances he had as a professional basketball player. Um, you know, like I said, as far as some of the other guys go that, you know, Bobby Clement got in the game and Chaz Laneir, they kind both kind of struggled a little bit. Uh, Chaz has been struggling this season knocking down that three-point shot. Obviously, we went and drafted him to be that, but sometimes with a rookie, that’s just how it goes. I remember when we first got u, you know, KCP here for a while and he just couldn’t throw a rock in the ocean at first. You know, of course, you’re going to have the inconsistencies, but sometimes it’s a slow start and man, you know, he’s just been off to a slow start as far as shooting the basketball for the the limited opportunities that he is getting. So, like I said, hopefully we can get guys like Duncan Robinson to get him up under his wing and show him some good habits out there. Um, you know, I was really looking forward to having uh Malik Beasley around for for him once we drafted him. But that’s unfortunate that that’s not the case right now. But we do have a Duncan Robinson who pretty much can show him some good habits on how to be consistent and knock down some shots and what to do and what to look for, how to get himself open in space out there. Bobby Clintman tonight I just felt like just need a little bit more uh toughness out there, you know, especially on the defensive end. Guys was blowing by and Bzelis can’t blow by you. You can’t have that. You know what I’m saying? You got to be able to move your feet. You’re you’re not the strongest guy, but you can move your feet. You can play defense with your feet. And move, you know, moving your feet is not hard for somebody of his um his stature and and the way that he’s able to move. You know, we see guys like Isaiah Stewart do it all the time, man. He’s probably, if not the best, one of the best perimeter bigs um when it comes to defending some of those guards out there. But this is a this situation where, you know, Bzelis is just getting by him. And you know, like I said, he just got to be a little bit more intense on the defensive side of the ball. I know he want to get shots up while he’s out there, but if you want to stay out there on the court, you got to play defense, too, you know. So that that’s what you got from guys like Green tonight. Uh playing some good defense out there. Like I said, he saved us last game with his defense uh going up against McCollum, but you got to be everybody has to play defense for this team in order for it to operate correctly. And you know, like I said, once we decide to lock down in that fourth quarter, we was able to stretch that lead out far enough for us to come out with the victory this game. But you want to see the Detroit Pistons continue to, you know, to to build this this chemistry with all three units. Not two units, not one unit, three units. Like I said, our bench’s bench was in there tonight. some of the guys that’s that you seen in the rotation tonight would not be playing probably right now or would not have been given this opportunity if we didn’t have this this monumental uh amount of injuries going on with the Detroit Pistons. So, you know, like I said, guys like Dennis, man, and you you just got to you got to take opportunities when they given to you. And that’s exactly what he’s doing. and he’s he’s trying to make his case and solidify himself for that backup point guard position and the time is definitely ripe. Um like I said, you got guys like Sasser who continues to be out. This is your opportunity. This is your time to shine. You worked for it. You literally worked yourself all the way up to it, man. Um, if you guys haven’t had an opportunity to check out Downtown Deuce’s uh live stream where he talked with Dennis Jenkins uh trainer, uh you need to watch that, man, because his journey was definitely a true journey to get to where he is right now. So, you want you want to see players like that make it. And backup point guard is something that we desperately still need. I know we got Caris Levert, but Caris Levert is not a point guard. So, this is an opportunity for him to make that strong case and he’s been doing a pretty good job of it, man. So, that first half tonight was amazing from him. Um, and don’t tell Deuce I said none of this stuff. All right. If y’all if if if Deuce want to know, tell him I said he was trash. But that running joke is going to stay. But, um, no, but seriously, you know, like I said, you want to see players like him make it, man. Um, but man, the the the house is going to be rocking Friday. Obviously, expect some guys to be back. If you guys are going to that game Friday, man, you’re about to have a a a a great time. It’s about to be a good one. It’s about to be a good one, man. Um, like I said, we we going to see how long this streak continues to go. The Pistons just been amazing. They’ve been great. Um, just great news all around today, man. guys coming back to practice for the Lions. Scuboo Sai Young winner. You know what I’m saying? Just just great news all around, man. And we continue our winner streak up to eight now. You can’t get off to a better start to the season um if you’re the Detroit Pistons. So, with that said, leave it in the comments section. Let me know what you guys thought about this game. Who are you most impressed with? And are you definitely definitely proud and pleased with the performance that you seen out there from the Detroit Pistons today? Also, the uniforms. Yeah, let me know what you guys think about the uniforms. With that said, I’ll see you guys in the next one. [Music]

With Cade Cunningham, Jalen Duren, Isaiah Stewart, Tobias Harris, and Asar Thompson all out, the young core stepped up in a huge way to defeat the Chicago Bulls.

Dannis Jenkins ran the offense beautifully, finishing with 18 points and 12 assists, controlling the game and making big plays all night. And Paul Reed delivered the best performance of his career β€” 28 points, 13 rebounds, and 6 assists β€” dominating in the paint and giving Detroit a massive lift.

This was a true team win, powered by grit, resilience, and next-man-up mentality. Even without their stars, the Pistons found a way to extend their winning streak to eight straight. Detroit basketball is officially on fire.

  1. I came to Michigan in the 80s via the military, raised my family here, and made this our home. I have been rocking with the Pistons ever since, and the last coach we got from Cleveland, we won 2 chips. Keep abounding team
