Honestly, it felt like his completion percentage was even higher, although there were a couple of drops that probably should’ve been caught too. Awesome game from our guy.
I’m not taking anything away from Bryce, this is actually a pro-Bryce post, but the biggest difference today was YAC.
And I don’t know if that’s better timing, better ball placement, better scheming, better understanding, but the go to XL was like the only throw we haven’t seen him make pretty regularly (and arguably the crosser to Coker), the skill players were just able to turn the receptions into more yards.

after last week I was firm on probably getting a new QB, despite how much I loved Bryce at the helm, but now, how could we possibly get rid of the 24 y/o single game passing yards leader, he has so much more potential

What a day. Kid showed grit and was aggressive!
The flashes are there, the consistency is not, this team is on the right track and could easily be a wildcard team if Bryce can take the next leap.

I was finally ready to hang it up and then he does this AGAINST THE (now former most likely) #1 PASS DEFENSE IN THE LEAGUE
He still sucks and isn’t this team’s franchise QB. Happy to remind folks that
I just want to call out how tough he is – mentally & physically. He was busted up today and played his heart out. He has also stayed positive and focused in spite of everything the last few years.
I can’t imagine the stress and pressure he’s been under and he’s still going. I’m still not convinced but goddamn I want him to be the guy.
Don’t worry. Next week he’ll be back to his old 120 yards, 2 turnovers self.

If we go 3-3 the rest of the way do we go to playoffs?
On the #1 pass defense no less
Now if he could only be consistent and do something close to this performance, game in and game out we’d have something going. 🤞

Joe Flacco put up 470 with 4 TD. And he did against a 7-3 team. You must think he is also currently a franchise QB, right? Right????
Not to be that guy, but he also has 6 games with 154 or less and only 1 other game where he broke 200 on the season 😬
It was nice to see the receivers finally get to eat tho

I think a lot of it is the coaching staff FINALLY playing to the strengths of the players . We should be taking 3 or 4 shot plays to XL every game . Not a knock on XL but he’s never gonna be an elite short and intermediate route runner . The one thing he can do is run go routes and win contested 50/50 balls . So why not do that ?? On the flip side Tmac doesn’t have that elite speed but he’s a freaking technician when it comes to his intermediate routes so keep doing that . I’ve been saying it all year …. They don’t play to the strengths of the offensive tools but that did it perfectly today ! Just keep it up !
