I can’t even imagine what Presti would do…draft someone or trade back for another zillion picks.

We’ll still need some ping-pong luck, but in the meantime, we have the fan fun of following the Clips every game this season while rooting for their opponent.
Also get the bonus of rooting for the Jazz to win against most teams.
Likewise following the Sixers.
Even if the clips don’t get the number one we can probably package both of em together to move up and get one of the top guys this years draft is supposedly stacked

I could see Presti trading the pick for a few studs and maybe offloading a few of our guys. Like…as much as I love Lu Dort and consider him an important piece in getting us here, it is being shown that we really don’t need him, because we have others who can defend as well as him and score more consistently than him.
Draft 1 or 2 then trade off the rest

Considering we found Ajay Mitchell in the 2nd Round. I trust Sam can find someone solid with whatever pick we get.

We’ve been praying on the Clippers downfall for years and they’ve definitely been resilient as fuck……. I’ll give them that. But this feels like their most precarious season since the trade. If this pick ends up being in the top 2-3 especially, that would be pretty disastrous for league parity lmfao

I’ve been thinking about this a lot. If we actually got #1, it would make a lot of sense to trade back to 3. Load up on more assets and still get a generational talent. I think Boozer is my favorite fit but any of the top three would fit nice.
if we get the #1 pick off the clippers and some pingpong luck, I think r/nba will explode… and r/LACkippers will be shutdown by their mods.
