  1. we’re 7-4

    austin deculus wears number 74

i never want to see trevor penning in a chargers jersey ever again

  2. Love the Bolts, always will. With that said this team will be lucky to make the playoffs.

  3. Can’t wait for us to lose to Philly, KC, and Houston in similar ways to how we’ve lost to Indy, NY, Washington, and now the Jags

I’m sorry but I have no reason to be optimistic right now. Even if we get into the playoffs, we know how it will end.

  4. Unfortunately, losses like these unravel a lot about what needs to be fixed within the team if we want to make it into the playoffs and further.

Injuries are a major setback against the team, but let’s be real – injuries can only be used as an excuse to a certain extent when it comes to blowout losses like these. Last week, we were saying how strong we were were despite the injuries, and well, look at us now. This team has strength, but the internal factors are killing us.

  5. I don’t see how this team can bounce back from what we just saw. A complete and utter collapse on both sides of the ball. Defense was a sieve, OL did its normal shenanigans, and the playcalling on offense was some of the worst shit I’ve ever seen.

  6. We’re just not gonna win with this offensive line. It’s unfortunate that our two tackles got hurt, but even besides that the guard play has been atrocious. We can’t protect Herbert for even three seconds.

  7. We looked like absolute dog shit and deserved that loss. Hortiz should be on the phone with Daboll immediately.

  8. Honestly every draft pick next year needs to be an offensive lineman idc what anyone says

  9. We’ve had to marinate to some bad teams this season and lucky to pull it off against some really really bad teams

  10. Been saying for a while this team isn’t good and I get called a doomer rather than a realist.

  11. I would get daboll on the phone immediately as our new OC, other than that the season was already wraps when slater went down in my eyes

  12. Horrible game. No question. But the fact is that this team is still. 7-4. I’m not entirely sure how, but they are. I think 10 wins realistically gets you in the playoffs. So need to go 3-3 down the stretch. The Raiders game (if it wasn’t already before) is now huge. Hampton back will help, but let’s not pretend it’s going to be a magic bullet. Need to rest and reset during this bye.

  13. The people saying our 7-4 team sucks is pretty funny. We got blown out by a Jags team that got embarrassed last week and needed to get that bad taste out of their mouth. The announcers even said the D coordinator for the Jags completely stripped it down and remade the defense this week. What our offense saw today was not what we prepared for on film. Roman was just awful at making adjustments and Penning just got railroaded.

The defense was just as bad and looked like they spent all week preparing for what they will do on the bye week instead of the gameplan. They had no fire.

But… We have a bye week to rest and get healthy. We have 6 more games and if we win 3 or more I believe we get in the playoffs. Anything can happen there.

  14. I hope every offensive lineman that wore a chargers jersey today gets cut. We need NFL level lineman. These guys couldn’t even get the job done in college. What an absolute joke of a unit. They wil go down as the worst offensive line to ever start in the NFL.

  15. I think the team came in completely underprepared about the current level of Jag’s football now.

That team they is legit and I honestly believe have an open contention window alongside the Chargers at the moment

  16. Everyone keeps saying daboll but I think we all know how loyal this front office is unfortunately isn’t Harbaugh and Roman best buds thru John? He’s not going anywhere

  17. The problem is the OL looked worse than it ever has, and that’s against a team struggling to get sacks. Yeah 7-4 is a good record but we started 3-0 which means since starting 3-0, we’re 4-4 against some relatively bad teams. There’s not much to be happy about right now.

  18. I just wanna say that I sat next to a chargers fan in the south end zone and yall are a class act

  19. Love Herb but this is one of those 3 games in his career where I can say he just sucked straight up. Bright side he always bounces back hard from these games and just in time for the raiders next

  20. We are probably going to make the playoffs as a wild card and are probably not going to win a playoff game. If we can fix the O-line and make a couple of tweaks on D we will be elite in 2026. No need for doom, no need to fire Greg Roman, just steady the ship and take this one game at a time.

  21. Offensively, small things made a big difference, a bad o line that go no stops rather than a few, and a bad run game that went from some occasional mid production to absolutely nothing aside from Herb running for it himself.

Defense wise we looked like an entirely different team. Only game that seemed similar was the colts? D line just decided not to participate most of the game and zone coverage was too weak.

At least Dicker and JK did their jobs.

  22. The offense was awful, but the defensive effort is way more concerning to me. We know what this offense is, if given opportunity, and the defense just keeping us within a normal game script, they can typically do enough to win any game. However, if we get behind quickly, and find ourselves trying to play catchup, kiss the victory goodbye. We just don’t have the pieces on offense anymore. The defense was absolutely destroyed, and it wasn’t because the offense didn’t sustain drives. The jags were gashing them from the first play to the last, the only bright spot was the INT that Lawrence gifted us. Manhandled in the trenches, awful tackling, constantly out of position.. just a terrible showing at all three phases. I don’t understand how people were blinded by the good numbers after playing three below average offenses. A good running game will eat this chargers defense alive, nothing has changed.
