The warriors lightweight play into their competition the past few years. I’m not one to trash other teams but…… Castle > Fears confirmed
This was the first thing I saw earlier. I was annoyed at why Curry had to be so hot against us in 2 straight games!
He is extremely competitive and knows that Spurs have talented young players who will push him – probably just gets the juices going when Castle is running with him nonstop. Against NOP he knows they will win even if he has a stinker, so theres no motivation.
We don’t have a Herb Jones lengthy defender that can guard guards and help Castle.
Steph always plays up to competition. He went off against the Nuggets aswell. If he respects you during the regular season, he’ll try his hardest to go off. Plus Wemby’s close outs on switches sadly help with his shot arc.

Because the Pelicans suck ass this year. Hate to say it, but we usually bring the best out of teams because they know they can’t sleep on us anymore.
We made life way too easy for him. Curry is a rhythm player. Once he hits a few shots (and needs very few), its over. We let him take way too many threes and most were open. After a few of those, it doesn’t matter how much of a contest you put up.
He was the one player who we had to shut down and live with others beating us and we didn’t. We need a solid 3&D winger like Herb Jones
If you watched the game, the Pels sent 2 at Curry at all times and denied him any good looks. The result of that is they left either side wide open. That’s why Moody, Podz, Hield was feasting on those open shots. Interesting way to commit this much attention to Steph.
This is kinda curry now. He hasn’t regressed for like his peak moments but he has regressed overall. When he’s on, he’s ON. But his age has definitely started to show the past few seasons and he has more than his fair share of off nights now. A lot of people didn’t have him as an all star last season
The warriors have the spurs number. At least for now.
Every team that plays the Spurs is going to go extra hard vs Wemby. That’s how it’s going to be for the rest of his (hopefully long, illustrious and championship packed) career. It’s going to be playoff type atmosphere especially whenever we play a good team.
Edit: But that also means that these games are going to make our entire team gain experience in high pressure games faster. So it’s good 👍

I think both can be true, we gave Curry too much space, and Curry really stepped up against us.
Our outside defense is really not that good. We kinda let the Kings got into rhythm today as well. We really need to improve on that.
Judging by the score it doesn’t look like the Warriors needed Curry against the Pelicans.

Steph vs Wemby is TV, he will be at his best. Also, We defend Steph differently from how other teams defend him. Plus the foul calls in both games were sus.
