  1. Makes sense he’d retire a King. Or I guess he could play until he’s 40+ who knows these days. I’m not a salary cap head: does anyone know if this is a good deal for both he and the org?

  2. Are there any meaningful pending free agents left? This summer might be really boring.

  3. I know he’s a great player, but $10.6 million for a 29 year old winger with a career 0.65 p/gm seems quite steep. Sure, his last 2 seasons have been near PPG. But dude definitely didn’t give his long time home a team discount. This is the new rising cap NHL though. Hopefully he can keep up his recent pace for 8 years in his 30s.
