Tom Seaver was born on this date in 1944. George Thomas Seaver needs no introduction: The Franchise pitched for the Mets from 1967 to 1977 and again in 1983. The 1967 NL Rookie of the Year had three Cy Young Awards and won 311 games in his illustrious MLB career. He was a 12 time All-Star with a no-hitter on June 16, 1978. Tom Seaver's number 41 was retired by the New York Mets in 1988 and he was elected on the first ballot to the Baseball Hall of Fame on January 7, 1992. He died on August 31, 2020.

Seth Lugo turns 36 today! The right handed pitcher spent seven years with the Mets from 2016 to 2022 and has pitched with Kansas City since 2024.

The Mets are teaming up with New York Cares for their 19th Annual Coat Drive presented by your local Toyota dealers on Wednesday, December 10, from 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. at the Mets Team Store at Citi Field. Free parking will be available in Lot G. Fans bringing a new or gently used winter coat will receive a voucher redeemable for two (2) tickets to a select Monday – Thursday Mets home game in 2026. Fans will be limited to one (1) ticket voucher. Fans who donate will also receive an exclusive 20% discount at the team store. Some exclusions may apply.     Undertale is a great game that just got a bad rep bc of shitty fans. But hey I’m a Star Wars fan and a Pokémon fan so I’m used to shitty fanbases on the internet unfortunately.
