🚨SEASON IS OVER! Vikings-Bears INSTANT REACTION!

[Music] One of the most heartbreaking losses in Vikings franchise history just came today at US Bank Stadium as they lost a game-winning field goal to the Chicago Bears and it resulted in a 19-7 win for Chicago and I am just completely distraught right now. Um that game was horrible. Uh JJ McCarthy was horrible for pretty much every single drive until that last one and then the Vikings somehow battle back from 16 to three down in the fourth quarter. You were able to somehow take the lead 17 to 16 and then the special teams unit which has been amazing all all day to give up a 50 plus yard return set the Bears up at the Vikings 40 yardd line and pretty much just hands them a game-winning field goal opportunity. And this game I mean I’m so at a loss for words right now. We’re giving our reaction about 15 minutes after. Just just completely flabbergasted. You know, it is just one of those seasons for this Vikings franchise. And this isn’t a Kevin Oonnell thing. This isn’t, you know, first off, it’s not a JJ thing. It’s not a KOC thing. It wasn’t a Zimmer thing. It wasn’t a Leslie Frasier thing. Like, this team just finds ways to lose games that you shouldn’t find a way to lose. I mean, you were terrible throughout this whole game. You have an amazing fourth quarter. defense kept you in this one and then you give up a game-winning field goal off an unbelievable just botch of special teams play on that kick return and it just sucks because the Bears just came into your building. They ended your season. They get the seven wins. Bikes are four and six. You just won 14 games a year ago and now this team is right back to where they always are, purgatory, where they are never good enough to get a top five pick. They’re never or never bad enough to get a top five pick. They’re never good enough to be a Super Bowl contender. And it is just the most Viking season of all time. The most Viking season. And just this game was the most perfect way to end a historically Vikings s season. So, we’ll talk about JJ McCarthy here. But, I do want to say thank you guys so much. We crossed over 67,000 subs. So, shout out to all of you guys. But, uh, you guys are uh, you know, keeping me motivated here, but that was uh, man, that was bad. Uh, this this this one stings. Uh, it is. I mean, it’s going to be tough to watch football um, for the rest of the day. And, uh, you know, that one just hurts. But, I do want to take a second. Thank you guys so much. Hit 67K. So, shout out to all of you guys. Um, JJ McCarthy. Um, listen, I put out a video earlier this week. We need to be patient with him and I stand by that. Um, listen, he was he was he was bad all day today. I mean, 16 of 32, 150 yards, had two picks in the first half. Um, one of the interceptions, he kind of got hit low. Kevin Byron made a good play on the ball. And then Deshawn Wright pick, you sometimes just need to tip your cap. That was a hell of a play. Um, but he was bad. Um, he was he was he was really bad. And I wanted to get up on here and talk about JJ and just the stones and the balls he had to lead another game-winning touchdown drive against the Bears where he was horrible throughout the entire game, but the Vikings special teams and the defense let him down. Um, they kept him in the game the whole time and then when finally JJ showed up, the other side didn’t end up playing well and that’s why you lost. It was just a horrible loss. I I am still at a loss for words right now and JJ it’s it is going to take some time and and it’s going to take a lot longer than you know I originally thought. I still think this kid’s got all types of potential. I think clearly we’re seeing in the biggest moments he still plays his best football. Um but for three and a half quarters, for majority of the game, he was absolutely horrible. And we’re just going to have to go through these groin pains and it results in a loss season for the Vikings where they have spent $350 million on this roster for this specific season and you’re four and six and you have some crushing losses. Like the win in Detroit, that was amazing. But then you completely combusted last week against Baltimore and then today you beat yourself again. Like you were again terrible for most of this game and the drops. TJ Hawinson late in that game. Jefferson over the middle. Addison had bad drops. Aaron Jones had a drop. It was like finally when JJ threw a good ball the receivers couldn’t catch and then receivers getting open JJ couldn’t find them. It was just again just a typical Vikings game. Like that’s the best way I could say it. The Vikings lost in the most Vikings way possible. And I don’t know how this team stays locked in. I don’t know how this team doesn’t quit, but uh you know, your playoff hopes are done. Like you’re four and six. You needed, you know, you’re going to have to go 10 and seven to make the playoffs in the NFC. You’re not going 10 and seven. You’re in Seattle. You’re in Green Bay. You still have the Lions and the Packers at home. Yeah, I mean just just terrible, man. I’m I’m truly sick right now. And listen, I wish I could say I’m shocked. Um that was just bad. That was just bad. Um like I want to I want to get up on here and make the whole postgame show about JJ and the nuts he showed the you know bounce back and why that’s why Vikings fans should be positive um leaving this one. But you wasted like a historically great game by the defense. You were stopping the run. You had KO bottled up. I mean, Kale Williams was I mean, he was terrible today. He was 16 of 32 for 193 yards. You kept him in the pocket. You’re able to sack him a couple times. You had great performances on defense, but you still just didn’t do enough to win this game. And we’ll talk about the defense here in a second, but just be patient with JJ. Um, it’s going to be a long road clearly. And this again, this game is just, you know, Vikings just have these years where they just find ways to lose games. And like I I truly believe this. The Vikings aren’t the worst franchise in the NFL. They are the most cursed franchise. Um this this this organization has the fourth highest winning percentage of all time out of all NFL teams. They don’t have a Super Bowl. I think under Kevin Oonnell, they have a top five winning percentage in the league. No playoff wins. And just yet again, this team, they just combust. They just combust over and over again. Um, it’s just bad. So, honestly, guys, is the Viking season over? I mean, I think it is. Um, there’s no other way around it. I mean, you lose this one to the Bears, I mean, it’s it’s done. Um, so you guys let me know. Is the Viking season over? Give me a Y for yes. give me an end for no. Um I in terms of you making the playoffs, it’s 100% over, but you know, you still got a lot to look forward to and that’s just developing JJ over these next what, seven games. Um yeah, I think the playoff hopes are done. I mean, you had a chance to get back to 500 and uh you just lose a heartbreaker, man. You just lose a heartbreaker. Um just just disappointed, distraught. Um, you got the same amount of wins as the Dolphins. You got four wins. You’re four and six. You’re I mean, you’re not a good football team this year. Drops again. More penalties today. Um, I thought guys like Jaylen Redmond had another great outing. Andrew Van Ginkle all over the football field. Um, you able to contain Caleb. Um, I thought Caleb was just off target a lot today. You were kind of able to limit his Superman ability of the escape ability. I mean, we saw it in certain spots, but still able to get home. Um, but again like it came down to, you know, a special teams gaff and that’s just that’s just so it’s just bad, man. It’s just bad. Um, I’m at a loss for words right now, everybody. I I actually don’t have much to say. Um, it’s just terrible. That is just terrible. Like this team, you were 14 and three and you blow it. Like you blow it. you had a terrible off season and now in a game like guys the Bears defense sucks. They they they are one of the worst defenses in the league. Yes, they get a lot of takeaways. The Vikings offense couldn’t do anything today. I mean for majority of that game they were terrible. Um absolutely terrible. And I mean these are probably season highs for the Bears. You you only scored 17 points at home, went on a late touchdown drive. You only had 265 yards of offense. JJ McCarthy was bad. The receivers were bad. KOC tried to stay committed to the run and I honestly felt like Kevin Oonnell play calling wise had a good game. Again, you just miss too many easy ones. Um that’s why you were in that position. Like it should never came down to it. And uh it’s just bad, man. Like you you got to chalk this up to I don’t even know. Like I mean yes JJ gets a lot of the blame. the offense gets a lot of the blame, the receivers get a lot of the blame. Um it’s just a it’s just a Vikings organizational loss. Like that’s what it really felt like. And uh clearly JJ is not ready um to lead a team to the playoffs and uh they thought he was, but uh clearly he’s not. It’s going to take some time. like the Vikings are going to have to now nail a lot of draft picks because you’re not going to have any money to spend in free agency it just is what it is and uh it just terrible just terrible so we appreciate you guys tuning in I’ll have another video coming out later tonight give you guys better thoughts there um season comes down the JJ developing know, um, just is what it is.   4. Someone needs to be fired! The money and effort put to build a winning team only to give the keys to the car to a God damn unproven rookie! And they had veterans on the roster!
    As things are now, we better just be patient! Just let JJ McCarthy go at it and air it out, live and learn and if we get lucky we can see Brosmer in a game or 2!

  11. It was rough to watch but we had 2 turnovers and a crap offensive showing but we were still right there in the end of the game.

    Something like 20 less offensive plays and what 12 minutes less time with the ball but had our special teams not screwed the pooch on that last kick, I firmly believe we would have ended with a Win. Addison with 2 drops, Jets with a drop, Hock with a drop, Jones with a drop.

    I still see a lot of opportunity and some good football to watch this year, but we do need to see some improvements from JJ on his timing and his delivery. Like one of the commentators said, not everything needs to be thrown at 102 mph.

  25. One qb had to play a top defense that blitzes all the time, another played a bottom 5 defense with no pass rushing. Jj is terrible, youre dang lucky we dont have 3 cb and a lb. Bear down😂

  34. Did you forget who you were playing? Did you forget what the Bears have done multiple weeks in a row? As soon as the Vikings took the lead I went and placed the bet on the Bears. It wasn’t about the special team up a kick. It was gonna happen. Either way. The Bears were gonna win that game because that’s just what they do. That’s what Williams does best the Vikings were lucky to have the lead at that point

  35. And don’t cry about getting hit low regardless if he wouldn’t have got hit low, the ball was either gonna be tipped by the defender, but the safety was in perfect position to bait him to make that throw

  38. The season is over there are too many teams that will get in ahead of us. We have since the bye a 1-4 record. With how bad the Bears' defense was, we couldn't even get past 20 points yesterday.
