  1. I’m pretty hype for Sam to have the opportunity. Hunt is a plugger, he meshes well with Backs and Pickles.

  2. This doesn’t make a whole lot of sense unless they want Morton playing center and they’re moving someone to the wing? Kerins was awesome.

  3. I’m as frustrated as everyone here, but I think one thing for us fans to consider is: I think they’re trying to get Sharky’s value up. He’s a dead weight right now at $5M for next 5 years. Either we want to trade him or need him to get better, we need him to produce.

I think this is reason Morton comes in to fill 4C, and Kerins down that enables Huska to put Sharky on L2. He needs to produce NOW.

  4. If I think about it, it makes sense. Hunt can sit because they’re probably trying to get Sharky back in. Zary moves up the lineup, Morton slots in as 4C and Kerins can still marinate in the A.

But I thought Kerins looked decent in his games. Too many wingers on this team. They’ve gotta get rid of some to make room for younger guys.

  5. The only thing I can think of is they want Sharky back in and dont want zary on the 4th line indefinitely.

Zary and Sharks into the top 9 with Honzek out.
    Morton as 4c.
Hunt to ride the pine and get some NHL money.

Otherwise you have one of zary, sharks, kerins on the 4th line or the bench.

  6. I am so confused about the thought process of some of you guys. We like Kerins and want him to develop, the flames agree, so instead of swapping him in and out of the lineup or playing 4th line minutes in perpetuity they send him back to the top line of Wranglers. Sure it’s frustrating to have sharangovich in his spot but he’s making 6 million so you have to atleast try to get him back in the lineup.
