  2. Go Sam’s! Wedgewood is sick – that diving/rolling save happened right in front of us last night and I was speechless. Ugly win but I’ll take it 👏🏻

  8. Obviously the team is on an insane heater, but just for the sake of the discussion I’ll nitpick.

    Brindley moving up and getting replaced by Taylor has wrecked what was a pretty good 4th line. Makar has been at best unnoticeable, especially because Bednar doesn’t trust him to play more than 3:21 total. Which made Bardakov and Kelly look more disjointed.

    I think Taylor was called up a bit too soon, at best, you can say that all the “how is it playing with your brother?” questions have been asked, and the next time he’s called up its no big deal.

  9. I just can’t get over how tenacious Kelly and Drury are man. They really don’t seem to take a shift off.

  10. Surprised Colton’s score isn’t higher. He was the best play on the ice every time he was out there

  11. That ice looked like shit last night. For the amount of times I saw people go down or the pucks just bouncing, that seem to be a huge issue.

  12. Brindley and Colton on the second line seem to have been a shot in the arm for Nelson. In past seasons, the Avs have struggled mightily when Val has been out of the lineup but the beat has just gone on this time.

    I like Landy on that third line. He’s been a big, mean presence that makes life difficult for the other team.

  13. I’m shocked Wedgewood was only ~1.2 GSAA, was thinking 3+ with how lights out he was playing.
