If they were in it on Friday, then it makes sense that they would still be on it Monday.

First, most important thing is that CJ gets healthy. Hope his recovery goes well from here!
Second, I do feel that a healthy CJ gives us a better chance to beat the Bills. But if his health is a question, better to let him sit.
But third, I in general feel it’s good to give opportunities to someone who has the most to gain or the most to lose. We think of Mills as a backup, but these last 2 weeks show that he has some dawg in him. I bet he is putting in incredible preparation right now for Thursday.
Right now he has two games against ok opponents. If he comes out, guns blazing, and puts up good film against the Bills he could parlay that into a bigger contract, as a low end starter / bridge quarterback / regular starter. Even a 3 year $35 million contract would be generational wealth for him and his family.

For somebody to still have symptoms TWO WEEKS after head trauma means that he likely suffered levels of brain injury detectable on MRI, e.g. brain contusion, diffuse axonal injury, intracerebral hemmorrhage, etc.
That’s some serious, potentially life altering permanent damage.
Does this mean timeline wise that they can’t be cleared in time?
Brutal hit that will take more time to recover from. Get well CJ and Let’s Go Davis.
