  1. I want to me mad but the neck has proved me wrong twice so fuck it ride with mills or toss me into sea boys

  2. I actually think we matchup better against the Bills than people seem to be thinking, and CJ isn’t going to be the make or break element.

If anything, Fairbairn is who is likely to going to be the MVP for us this Thursday if he can play.

  3. We’ll deal with it.
    It’s at home.
    Our Defense is Elite.
Davis has another week of practice with the starters.

  4. Pretty sure he could still play if he clears concussion protocol Tues or Weds but its not looking good. Bet his camp is also making sure he’s 110% ok as to not jeopardize any contract extension leverage

  5. Not surprised. Even if he clears he’s been out 2 weeks, and a short week would be detrimental to him. Let mills take the short week and CJ will be back for the remainder of the games if he stays healthy.

  6. They probably need the rest more than the practice. There’s still a good chance they could play, tomorrow and Wednesday will be more telling.

  7. Well season is over. No Stroud no chance. Call me a doomer, but Mills barely put up points against the bum ass Titans so I don’t have faith especially on a short week

  8. Didn’t Tytus have to practice first before he was out of protocol? Not entirely sure how that rule works

  9. First, most important thing is that CJ gets healthy. Hope his recovery goes well from here!

Second, I do feel that a healthy CJ gives us a better chance to beat the Bills. But if his health is a question, better to let him sit.

But third, I in general feel it’s good to give opportunities to someone who has the most to gain or the most to lose. We think of Mills as a backup, but these last 2 weeks show that he has some dawg in him. I bet he is putting in incredible preparation right now for Thursday.

Right now he has two games against ok opponents. If he comes out, guns blazing, and puts up good film against the Bills he could parlay that into a bigger contract, as a low end starter / bridge quarterback / regular starter. Even a 3 year $35 million contract would be generational wealth for him and his family.

    Get that bag Mills!

  10. Figured, this short week doesn’t give the room where he can get a solid week of practice plus a rest day for recovery.

Bryant and Mills have played fine, but I miss having Pitre out there as well.

  11. How is he failing the protocol? Does he not know what today is? Does he not know his name? Does he not remember his ABC’s or 123’s? Did he forget how to tie his shoe? Has he really been outta it for the last 3 weeks? Thats gotta suck.

I petition for CJ to wear a guardian cap!

    Cruse the fucking Broncos.

  12. More concerned about Fairbairn. We can’t be punting inside the 40 with our RZ offense.

  13. Damn, that sucks. At least after Thursday there is 10 days before the colts and both *should* be cleared by then…

  14. Josh Allen just had 3 passing TD and 3 rushing TD’s in a game. There is just no way our offense will keep up with the Bills offense. Plus we play terribly in primetime. TNF loss

  15. CJ is no doubt lying lol. Mugheta is probably making him sit out to up his value as much as possible. He’s hoping Mills shits the bed this Thursday. I’ve seen even worse hits that didn’t even lead to concussions and let alone the one CJ had been dealt.

  16. we already knew it was highly unlikely you need to practice twice before being cleaned of the protocol and there just isn’t enough days in-between these games

  17. This is highly worrisome for CJ Stroud’s future.
For somebody to still have symptoms TWO WEEKS after head trauma means that he likely suffered levels of brain injury detectable on MRI, e.g. brain contusion, diffuse axonal injury, intracerebral hemmorrhage, etc.
That’s some serious, potentially life altering permanent damage.

  18. He can still clear, right?

Is this a little bit of smoke and mirrors so that the Bills don’t prepare for CJ? We don’t let the Bills know he’s playing until the absolute last minute we can (tomorrow). Same with Pitre on the defensive side.

Concussions knocking guys out 3 games seems strange. Or, maybe the Texans are just doing it the way their supposed to and every other team rushes players back.
