Only player where every time he pulls it I think it’s going in
Man, it’s nice having a sharpshooter on the roster that doesn’t leave us playing 4-on-5 on defense every time he’s on the floor. Not claiming that he’s locking dudes up, but he’s not getting cooked the same way Bryn Forbes and Malik Beasley used to. And those guys weren’t forced to guard the biggest wing every night.
Doc needs to make it a priority to actually get him shots. He’s been used primarily as a spot up shooter and the occasional dribble hand off or screener/pop.
They need to run set action specifically designed to get him a look with multiple screens. They usually open the 3rd quarter with one and then it’s back to spotting up. Have to actually use your weapons. If teams begin face guarding him, that just opens up more for Giannis.
