LA Clippers vs Philadelphia 76ers Full Game Highlights 3rd Qtr | Nov 17 | 2025 NBA Highlights
early as possible, come out with energy, move the ball, move their bodies, and make sure Philly has to work hard. He thinks if a if this third quarter starts well, the game will finish well. And we’re hoping for the same, Lauren. Thanks. Yeah, Lauren, and great that you said that about a great start because this sixure team itself is the worst in the league at SC scoring in the third quarter. Third quarter, you know, we’ve struggled, the Clippers at times in the third quarter, etc. How does it happen? Yeah, each team is different, you know. Um, some teams being young don’t understand it. Some teams being older may be a little bit tight. It’s a combin It’s a weird thing because this team is full of veterans and should understand, especially when they close out the half really good. You would think that momentum would carry over, but I I you know, each locker room is different. Brian Harden, nice pass to Sanders. The catch and shoot three is good for the rookie. It’s his third made shot. He’s got eight points in his first career start here in Philadelphia. And the lead balloons now to 12 with a minute gone by in the third. Edgecomb Sanders makes him pick up the dribble. Misses inside. Here come the Clippers once again. [Music] Now on the switch, Grimes again mentioned this earlier. Also a pupil of James Harden. Harden able to get around him. Stops. Lets it fly from 15. The shot is short. Rebound tap skyward repeatedly. Finally vacuumed in by George Edgecom wrapped up by Sanders. Sixers hold on to possession. Good defense there in transition. A whistle. An easy two. Look at those third quarter numbers right there. You know, are you concentrating on the game plan at halftime in the locker room? Are you on your phone, which a lot of players do now? They go to their phones. Harden looking to Dunn in transition, loses the handle. Maxi the other way. Sanders gives chase and lays it in. [Music] [Applause] [Music] Harden posting on Maxi. Drummond lurking in the Paintton area. Been in there for a minute. If there’s a 3second count coming or not. Harden the mid-range jumper. Not there. Maxi, another running rebound. Zoo swipes it away in transition. Harden picked up by Drummond looking for the mismatch. It’s Zoo inside, spins away, misses. Rebound Collins. Second effort is good. Counted and a foul. Collins best offensive game as a starter yesterday. Still trying to get comfortable with everybody in that unit. Gets up and down on the three-point play and the Clippers match their largest lead. 62 to 49. 9:15 to play in this third quarter. And I like the defensive effort here to come out in this third quarter. Grimes in the corner to George for three and Harden the flatfooted rebound for the Clippers. James with 18 on 11 shots. Skips off the Zoo screen. Tough pocket pass. Drummond did well to deflect it. Maxi off to the races to the rim over Collins. A whistle and a foul. So tough man. He gets up underneath you, especially as a big and he has such quick burst, which was quite hilarious to read. [Music] He I don’t think it was his dog that he showed. He did the u the obstacle course. Oh, okay. With somebody else’s dog, I believe it was. Yes. Okay. Well, I tell you what, when you get money, man, you start doing all kind of stuff that you don’t even think about doing before. You know, no, I’m just going to go to this dog show. What are you doing? You showing the dog? No, it’s the obstacle course. I’m telling you the finish. Got your lead down to single digits and a timeout comes the way 829. Studying a ton of other big man film as he grew up. He said Joel Embiid looks like he has a guard stuck in his body. as we get back underway. Guys, Lauren, thank you so much. Nice defensive play there by Paul George. Whistle stops the clock. 809 is your play in the third. Remember your first NBA arena game? Yeah, NB. No, no, it was actually the Silver Dome. I played in college my sophomore year um in the sweet uh sweet 16 in the Silver Dome. Was it Auburn Hills around? Was it the Palace around? It was still the Silver Doll. The Palace didn’t come into a few my It did, but it did. It gives you a different thing cuz you’re like trying to look around the locker room and think whose locker was this or who was doing this. It’s It’s kind of neat though. Even as a broadcaster, it’s fun. It’s uh it’s a cool man. Some of them have auras. The sports arena had an aroma. Yeah, he had an aroma. You better believe that. Seven to shoot for the Sixers. Grimes a side step three with a hand in his face. Tough shot. Quinn Grimes can do that though if he gets hot. 6257. Clippers still out in front. Maxi overplays. Comes away with a deflection. Off to the races. He’s got done to beat. The two collide. A whistle and a foul, I believe, will send Maxi to the line for a couple of free throws. Give me a year. How like how many years ago? The last time 40 minutes 2011 Monte Ellis was taking too long. Game was back in there. Deflection. Clippers recover. Sanders inside. Lets it fly. He’s clean and he knocks it down. Sanders in his first start. Double figures. It’s 6459. Clippers. That breaks a 100 Philadelphia run. Maxi, he knocks it down. Now he’s beginning to heat up. He’s got 21. It’s a three-point game. Yeah, Maxi starting to figure out where his gaps in the defense here in the zone defense employed here by the Sixers. Great offense. Dunn gets the rebound, the put back. He is good. Zoo from the dunker spot passing to Dunn. We’ve seen it the other way around as well. Clippers by five. Well, hitting that dunker spot is just as effective as hitting the ball in the middle of the court against the zone. First of two fall for George. Talking about the minutes, it’s funny. It’s It’s a rarity now to see a player play average. Anyway, 40 minutes. Prior to that, going back to 1980, 26 of 31 years, players were averaging 40 minutes a game. When I played for Jeff in Houston, man Gundy, you got to get that off. You got to get that defensive rebound. Maxi going to try to make him pay. Clippers dodge a bit of a bullet. But I was saying I played about 40 minutes a game. Now my 40 minutes wasn’t a James Harden 40 minutes. You know what I mean? Representing nodding his head up and down like Jack Nicholson and anger management. Yes. Why not? Why wouldn’t you want to play your best players? Makes a lot of sense, don’t it? Clippers by four. Barton gets around Grimes. Leans in for the floater. Can’t get it to fall. Clippers get it back. Zoo with a big finish midway through the third. Trying to stop some bleeding here after the Clippers were out in front by 13 in this frame. And finding those bounces where he usually goes to our opponents. The two able to be the recipient of a good bounce. Maxi gets a good look. Can’t get it to fall down. Batum the rebound inside of six minutes to play. Bogdanovich controls. [Music] Bogey with space. Lets it fly. Gets the shooters bounce. It’s his first bucket tonight. He’s got three in the game and the Clippers lead by eight. Whistle and a foul. And one thing the Clippers comment on the officiating. George misses the second free throw. It’s a seven-point game for the Clippers. Sanders in his first start with Derek Jones Jr. out with a knee sprain has played well here for the Clippers. Pardon got off to a great start in that first quarter. Sanders in the mid-range. One of the few times he left this spot that the one of the few I think he thought James was shooting and he was trying to get to the offensive glass. I think that pass kind of caught him off guard and Grimes once again trying to probe inside. Good defense by Pat Batum. Clippers six of 15 in the third. Philadelphia 4 for 12. Batum all alone in the corner for three. It’s a hat-tick. Trey Ben for Batum and the Clippers just like that the lead swells back to 10.
